  1. For the past few weeks I have not been able to edit any logs by using the normal "Edit Log"->"Pencil". When I do that, the system just reverts back to the same page. Is there a known problem with the system? I am using MS Edge, with a link to Internet Explorer as my browser.
  2. I'm using GSAK V9.0.0.14 on a PC with Windows10. I'm also using Edge as my basic, and Internet Explorer as my primary, browser(s).Lately when I try to open a cache in any of my databases, I initially get, what I call the "side by side screen" (this may be a default browser setting, but I don't like it. I'm more comfortable with the GC site). Normally I would click on the GC number in the upper left corner to open the file in my more familiar GC page. Now, when I try that, I get an error message as follows - It seems your Anti-Forgery Token is invalid. This could be the result of disabled cookies or a recent username change. Please ensure that cookies are enabled and try again.Sign in with your Geocaching accountCreate an accountGeocaching homeIf I attempt to sign in directly to GC, I can get access. It just seems to be when I attempt to link from GSAK. I have tried both methods for obtaining a new token, without any success or change to the error message.Any suggestions as to what may have caused it, and/or how to correct it? I had been attempting to clean up cookies about the same time that this started happening. May I have unknowingly checked off a wrong box and deleted a cookie in GC that I shouldn't have? If so, how do I get it back? I have received a reply from the GSAK forum as to how to possibly allow the "Online Page" to appear rather than the "Side by Side". When I try that, I am asked to sign into my account. After entering my information at that point, nothing happens to it. The page just sits idle. It doesn't even to the error message. It's not an "end of the world problem", more of an annoyance.
  3. Clicking on Compatibility settings from a particular cache page works and allows me to "send to my GPS", but are you saying that I will now need to do that for every cache which I wish to send to my GPS? That seems like an awful waste of time, and a step that wasn't required before the upgrade.
  4. I have upgraded to Communicator 4.1.0 on both my IE11 and Google browsers. After downloading, the plug-in says that it recognizes my device, however, when I go to a cache page and attempt to "send to my GPS", the device isn't recognized. Any suggestions on what I should be looking at or doing?
  5. Now that was easy, wasn't it. Thanks B&R. Now why didn't I think of that????
  6. How come I can go into "My Friends" in my profile and quickly see that they have found XXX Caches and moved YYY Trackables, yet I have to manually search the records to find how many Trackables that I have moved. If it's available in one instance, you would think that it should be available everywhere, or am I missing something. How come that statistic doesn't show in my personal data?
  7. As the sole finder, to date, of the "cache in discussion", some 48 hours after publication, I had no problem with the makeup of the container, the cache description, or anything else. Perhaps you should check it out before slamming it. I merely enjoyed the hike again in these beautiful woods to pick up this, and the other nearby new listing while I was at it, as a respite from the recent heat wave which we have been experiencing. As the CO has mentioned, he is working on placing more caches back in this area, and I can hardly wait. There are currently 10 caches, of various types and ratings, in this County Forest, and room for lots more without saturating it. I have discovered seven of the ten, and am nearing completion on the two remaining Challenges, as well as working on the Mystery cache. For those who have never visited the area, I invite you to get off of your soapboxes and make the trip. I can guarantee you that most people won't be disappointed with what is offered, both with our local caching varieties and local tourism. Of course, we can't always appease everyone.
  8. I recently installed a new hard drive in my PC and upgraded to Windows 7 Pro from Windows XP Pro at the same time. I am using IE8 as my browser. I don't know whether or not it was a coincidence, but since the upgrades I haven't received the usual notifications of new caches in my area, and I don't receive the weekly GS Newsletter. Is there something which I have to do to Win7 to make it compatible with the GC programmes? If so, what do I need to do. I can't see anywhere that readily allows me to edit things within GC.
  9. Recently I have started experiencing the inablity to download cartridges to my Oregon 300 where I have been able to load them in the past. I continually get the following error message, which being a non-computer tech, is foreign to me. Even when I Google some of the lines, the answers are even more confusing. Has anyone else experienced this problem, what is causing and what is the cure? I recently downloaded Garmin's Beta 3.01 software, and it may be coincidental, but that seems to be when the problem started. However, I know of others who have downloaded it to their Oregon 300s and have no problem downloading the cartridges.
