  1. 4Parks (GC45B5) has been archived for almost a year, but all the waypoints are still active. I'd love to adopt that one. I'd need to add another waypoint to get the final away from another cache, but that wouldn't be a problem for me.
  2. My name is Bonch. My wife calls me "Two Time Trev" but not for the reason she and I want. I am incapable of finding any cache on my first try. Usually I'll get it on the second or third. I don't log all my DNF's. If you want to know how many I have, just assume that each find began with a DNF. If I go back another 4 or 5 times, as I have with several of PDXMM's caches, I log a DNF. Or if a cache draws blood.
  3. Like I said, I am 100 %. I will have my foot on that trail at 7:00 with you.
  4. Well, now it looks like my wife will be coming after all. Problem is, she can't get away from work until 8PM Friday. If Nolenator can get a permit for her at Jack's that'd be swell! Hope I can find the trailhead in the dark...
  5. If you are officially offering, I am officially accepting. I'll probably still head up to Jack's on Friday just to get acquainted with the whole volcano thing. Thank you!
  6. Since we're all presenting itineraries, here's mine: Wake up Friday between 9 and noon. Get in my car and drive to Jack's. Hang out reading or playing solitaire until I get a permit. Head up to Climbers Bivouac. I drive an Explorer with a REPO sticker. Just look for the Apeman. And it looks like I'll be solo from the Portland area, unless anyone needs a lift.
  7. It wouldn't be the Pacific Northwest if it were sunny and 75. I'll be there with my parasol. Zowie!
  8. can you tell me about this hiker's bivouac? It's probably more comfy than my backseat...
  9. I am 100%. Got Friday and Saturday off work. Unsure about wife and friend, but I am at least one that will walk up that hill. If we don't need to be there Friday, it'll improve the chances of me not coming alone, but I can go either way.
  10. I know I'm very late in this, but I'm gonna do my best to get a lotto permit for that climb. Safety in numbers. Hopefully, intelligence in numbers, too. And good looks.
