Ive been doing a whole bunch of home renovations lately & had decided to grab my cluster of coins & put them in a ziplock for the time being.. I had mistakenly left a Clan Doyle Penny on the computer desk & had noticed it the next day... Lazily I said - Ill put that in the bad later, well later never came & a few days after I could find the coin anymore. Been a few weeks & I've started to put my living room back together & still no sign of it.. My 1st coin lost in the house...

I have not heard from Team Hartsock yet - to claim their prize. (maybe on vacation?). Please contact me with your mailing info, thanks.. Gnummy started on his travels last week & has already started putting a highlight reel of stunt footage for the Hollywood big wigs.. When I had first read this post I didnt think it was an idea that I was going to pick.. But as I thought about it, I liked it more & more.. I think it will be interesting to see what kind of pictures people will post. Its an easy mission for cachers to come up with pictures of the Gnome doing crazy things, so I think I will get alot of feedback with it... I have placed a new Gnome related cache in honor of sending off Gnummy into the wild. Here is a picture of the cache container. I thought I would take a quick look at all the posts and narrow it down to 2 or 3 and then make a decision. Well.... I was only able to narrow it down to 9 posts.. This is going to be harder than I thought. Alot of good ideas out there... What hepens if you like the name in one post and the mission in an other??? That will be harder... Thank you for the cointest! It was a very nice one!!! I agree! Many great missions and names were posted! Yes ive had that problem.. lol... Got it down to 3...

Alot of good entry's and ideas so far. I love the diversity & creativity. I am going to stop taking entry's at 4pm Eastern Time on Wednesday 7/22/09. After that I will read through everything and pick a winner. I have also decided to place a new cache in honor of sending this Gnome out into the wild. It will be a Gnome related cache & I will post a link to the cache page & coin page after I pick a winner. I will also post a picture of what the cache cointainer will look like... I didnt mention this in the first post, but feel free to enter as many times as you want. Each post must have a new name & new mission though..

The past few weeks or so I've undertaken a bunch of home repairs & renovations.. Started with my roof leaking a few weeks ago wich cost me about 4 grand to replace the roof... and now turned into the process of my fiance saying " lets redo the entire living room & bedroom". I havent had the time & or money to buy coins lately since undertaking these projects.(sheetrocking/painting/flooring ect ect) Ive passed on buying a few coins recently (most notable the seal of solomon wich I think looks awesone) since my whole budget is blown on the house. It actually sucks because Im on the forum knowing that I cannot buy anything.. wich isnt the best feeling as you look at great new coins.. So I left work early today to get an early start on doing base & crown moldings in the bedroom today, and as Im doing some cutting on the porch my fiance come's out to get the mail from the mailman who was walking up the driveway.. As Im measuring she says "you got one of your little token thingy's". I said, "you sure, I didnt order anything" she says "well its from you to you". So what happens next? I jump up and pretty much snatch it right from her & rip it open - saying gimme that.. Amazingly there was a Luck & Protection coin inside.... WOW. I'll be honest, I really really cant believe someone sent me the coin. I'm shocked & also honored... This coin was my #1 most wanted & I loved the look & design the first time I saw it, but in reality I figured I would never see it. The coin is absolutely awesome & I got lucky #55. Thank you so much to who ever sent it.. it probably means more to the people that get them than you think. You're Awesome.....

This is my Gnome. He has a problem... He has no name, and even worse he has no where to go. He is getting ready to go traveling but cannot decide on a mission. So here's the cointest.. 1. Name the Gnome (This will be the name I use on the coins page) 2. Give the Gnome a mission (This will be the mission I use on the coins page) Simply saying send him to Utah or something like that wont get it done. Im looking for a full mission statement that I can pretty much copy & paste right onto the coin page. Be as creative or simple as you like with both the name & the mission. There is no exact deadline for the end of this, but it will probably run anywhere from a few days to a week max. Winner will recieve a trackable coin of my choice. Well reading the post's of how it translates, it seems he might think your coin went missing & that the copy is not meant to travel.. Although, if after emailing him it comes about that he just doesnt like the idea of the copy & threw it away.... How close are you to 1 of his caches?

Any chance there will be another NY event? Thats a long way from NYC or the 5 Boro's...
