  9. Thanks, I was going to attempt to use this if I didnt across any swappers.. I'd like to get a few coins out there, so if I can avoid a bunch of international postal fee's it'd be great..
  10. Ok, so most of my coins are traveling inside of the US. I think only 2 of my coins have made it out of the country, and 1 is missing. So in an attemp to have some coins traveling in other countries, I am curious if anyone would be interested in doing an adoption exchange with me. By this I mean... I would like to have someone in another country, activate one of their coin's & adopt it to me & place it in a cache and send it on a mission traveling. In exchange, I will activate & adopt one of my coin's over to you & place it in a cache here in NY & send it on a mission traveling. Please email me through profile if you are interested, thanks.. Aside from outside the US, I would also like to get a coin traveling through Hawaii..

  15. It was another tough decision this year, as there were alot of good entries. But the winner is: Hard to pass up a free Holiday Home, and a cache placed in his honor.. If anyone would like to track his adventures: TB36YJX - Mr. UpDown Congrats Dave, send me your info and I'll get a coin in the mail to you... As I said it was hard to pick, and there could only be 1 winner, but just for honorable mention - these were the other finalists.. Post 3 - Gnluvabiddle the Gnome (I liked the 7 continents aspect of it, and the stunt-gnome line cracked me up) Post 4 - Millhouse Manastorm - (Im a big Stonehenge fan, and liked the "greatest symbols of the civilization") Post 21 - Gnomar Garciaparra - (This one almost won, I loved everything about it, was tough to decide) Post 39 - Grumblebeard - (Love the attitude, and something different than all the "cute" gnome names) Post 51- Olive Garden Gnome - (Very Creative, I liked it)

  20. This is some coincidence, since I just took a Boxer rescue in on Friday. We have been looking for a second dog for about 4 months now, trying to find what seems to be the right fit for us. I currently have a 2 year old Shepard/Boxer mix... We had been working with multiple boxer rescues, and then last week we saw a note in our vet's office that someone was looking for a home for a 3 year old boxer. We talked to the lady at the vet and it was her neighbors dog.. Apperantly one of their kids was getting allergies from the dogs saliva, and they finally decided they had to get rid of the dog. They had contacted a boxer rescue, and the dog was going to be picked up on the weekend.. We immediately began talking with the owner & the rescue that the dog was going to go to.. We had to kinda rush it a bit, so we did a great with our dog & the boxer (his name is Storm).. My dog (Shamus) who is a 95 pound male got along with Storm great so we decided to take him. We were able to pick up Storm directly from the owner who lived near us, and avoided Storm bouncing around in a Foster home... Sometimes timing is everything, a week later and he was going to be Fostered in a home in Maine I believe... Its funny to see how much more athletic Storm is than my dog.. Storm is 65 pounds, wich is small for a Male, but he is so quick, when him and Shamus run in the yard, Storm just leapes right over my dog, he's so darn quick... This is not the greatest pick, but we havent gotten around to take a bunch of pictures just yet...
