  1. The last few of anything seem to be the hardest to part with. Your choice to help the cause will be much appreciated!
  2. If you're having a password issue, I would start here.. As for why you must register, that is not a question I can answer as I am not affiliated with TCP beyond using utilizing them to sell the coin. But I would venture a guess that it's partially due to prevent fraud, among other things.
  3. Keep those orders coming! We're almost done, and it's <2 weeks before they ship.
  4. Mine arrived yesterday on my desk while I was at lunch, and when I showed it to my wife after work she thought it was VERY cool.
  5. Where is the animated .gif so those who didn't get one can see it in action?
  6. As I understand it, they will ship at the same time as the others which is ~May 20th.
  7. I remember a time when another cacher got an FTF on a cache being placed by Team "Wyle E" while the cache was still in prep stages sitting on the floor of the office. How was this find made, you ask? Larry of Team "Wyle E" had a webcam in his office, and someone spotted the ammo can with lid open and contents inside, sitting on the floor at the edge of the webcam view. Now, a cache I was going for FTF on a few weeks ago in a very wet snowstorm had been found 2 days prior to listing because another caching team was going to place a cache there, in the exact same spot. Coming out of the cache area with soaked jeans was suddenly not very worth the effort because of the 3TF I ended up with, but kudos to them for having the same great eye as the original hider.
  8. If you don't follow the Geocoin forums at all or are not a registered user on the azgc listserv, the Arizona State Geocoin is currently in pre-order (shipping ~May20th) if you would like to commemorate your caching life in Arizona with a symbol rich with history of caching in Arizona from its roots. Arizona Geocoin The above image is the silver rendition, with copper being the current coin available for sale at this time.
  9. There are many places where reception will be horrible or non-existent, but you won't really have a good idea of what's going to happen until you're deep into the canyon where issues will arise.
  10. Since being ribbed by Kealia earlier, I figure I'll provide a more 'robust' post. Things are close, but we still have some copper available. Ordering now will not delay delivery, as they are currently in production. If those pondering ordering but are concerned about copper discoloration, we have been assured that this will not occur with the coins being produced. T-minus 17 days (ish) and the shipping should begin!
  11. Nice coin. Might want to change that to Save Our Lives though. <Edit: Rothstafari - replaced link >
  12. Oops. Didn't mean to quote myself with a blank reply.
  13. Ok, I've been asked about this more and more frequently, so it's time to begin. I've come up with some conceptual stuff that's been posted to the recently established Montana Cachers Forums, and rather than duplicating it here, follow the link and tell me what you think. I haven't taken concept and made something out of it yet, so this is the absolute preliminary design concept. From this and the subsequent discussion, I will work to put something together. http://mtgeocachers.7.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?p=87#87 I would prefer the discussion stay there to provide a central point of contact, so all those interested don't have to follow multiple discussions in order to keep up on the developments. Also, I would encourage everyone to register there as regular users, and we can turn it into a great place to discuss caching activities throughout the state. I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks and working collectively on the design process. Brian Team A.I.
  14. I've kept up on the debacle this has become (somewhat), and would like to help make something right. I'm not a Wyoming resident, so I'd prefer not to do the design myself, at least not completely. Currently, I'm in the preliminary stages of a Montana coin, now that interest is growing and people keep asking me about it, but that's another thread.
  15. Would there be too much skepticism if someone else designed a coin to replace this apparently shady situation? I would be interested in having a hand in the process but don't want to put the effort into it unless I know that things wouldn't be received poorly because of this situation.
  16. PM or e-mail me and we can work something out.
  17. Still a few left...keep those orders coming! Ship date is just about 3 weeks away now.
  18. Ridiculous shipping charges have become par for the course on eBay. You can get a great price on something, but the shipping is truly inappropriate. The new iPaq I picked up for caching I landed for $172 shipped (only $10 of that was shipping), and it cost them over $9 to actually ship it. Very few times will you see me paying the ridiculous shipping amounts, which only happens if I have a HUGE need for something, and the combined cost is still less than I would pay for it elsewhere.
  19. The Arizona coin will ship ~May 20th.
  20. Sales are going well, and there are still a few left, so jump on board if you haven't already.
