  1. An interesting sentiment .... If you believe in the devil...
  2. I think our last 7 or so caches have been paperless. I've got the closest 50 unfound caches to work, home and my sisters on my yellow Etrex and if we want to go caching I've searched the geocaching.com WAP site using the waypoint name, it's not as high tech but it works as long as there is a phone signal!!. This was fine up until last weekend, we went off to the cache site (GCJEE0 - Parallel Lines) and searched the WAP site for further info and the clue and still couldn't find the cache so I presumed a DNF and went off to the next one. It wasn't until I got back and checked GC.com that I established that the DNF had actually been archived however after checking the WAP site again it doesn't declare that the Cache site has been archived. By the way does anyone know the format that Co-ordinate searches should be in on the GC WAP site?
  3. I've just done my first night time cache, probably the most unsafe thing I've done in a long time. 8miles (there and back) along a river path on a MTB, and the headlamp faded half an hour into the start!!! I carried on anyway and found the Cache with the rear light. I only came off once ... note to self ... spare batteries for headlight as well as the GPS.
  4. errrm... We asked our 3 year old son what we should call ourselves, and he decided our name on the basis that whenever we go out we always ended up having Tea & Cake...
  5. We've always been into walking and generally getting out of the house at the weekends. While I was buying a new GPS on the web I came across G.com via a link from somewhere - I forget now. I thought I made a huge saving buying my etrex on ebay, until walking into Staples and seeing them there for £65 .
  6. Hi, are there any protocols on revists to caches? We revisited a cache today as no. 1 son wanted to go back to the nice woods and drop off some more treasure, also I think he must have had his eye on a piece of treasure. I let Mrs Tea & Cake actually find the cache as it was her first time there...
