  1. Hi Ray Q. Yes the MGS (Maryland Geocaching Society) www.mdgps.org is a great group. I live in Maryland near Brunswick MD. I am always looking for Geo-Buddies to go caching with. According to Google Earth, Waynesboro PA is not to far away. I have a Garmin 450t GPS that I use for caching and hiking. It's a great GPS as far as I am concerned. I would suggest whichever one you get make sure it is a paperless unit. Whatever you decide on, make sure to Have Fun.

  5. Howdy - I live about 10 to 15 minutes from Frederick. I am always looking for a Geo Buddy to run with. Let me know.
  6. I have been thinking about something and would like some feedback. I was thinking about having a "Hike of the Month" event cache. Basically pick a trail (one per month) and set it up as an event. Come on the hike and get the find. Could also find the caches along the trails as well. Good idea? Bad idea? Thoughts? Would be in and around the Maryland area.
