why is it taking so long to get my cache approved?? It has been 3 days and it says if your cache hasnt been approved in 72 hours to go to a link from the page of cache info.........I went there and it really just tells me nothing about why it is taking so long and is there a person to contact about this? there hasnt been a new cache in our area for quite awhile and so its not like there are so many to go through. I mean no disrespect and know these are volunteers doing this but I have known them to come up within hours of being posted. so why do some take so long? A fellow cacher in the area hid 3 in one day and one was approved after a couple days but the other two took so long they werent even tagged as new when they did show up.

I will be going up to the Jackson/ Sutter Creek area in a couple weeks and I was wondering if there are any caches up there to be found. I am new to this whole thing and have been searching in the website for that area but dont see anything. Thanks, Swtjo2000

Hi I dont think I am a lurker yet since this is my first time on the board I would like to introduce myself though since I will most likely return. I am swtjo2000, Hubby and I went on our first Geocache hunt today and found 3 of 3. Geocaching is a great find for our family.We have always done our own style of "treasure hunting" with our kids since they were young. Hiding easter baskets, birthday presents, and just creating an activity while out camping. So I guess you can see it didnt take much to get us hooked well TTFN, Swtjo2000
