I really must have jumped off the deep end. I take a laptop with a Topo map program in it. I'm in Oregon and like the Caches up in the mountains, A map really helps because there are a lot logging roads to deal with. This way you can find a road closest to the cach. I looked for a cach last week and it was a 31/2 mile walk into the location and I didn't find it. Hay it's fun nomatter what you use. So do it your way, but have fun
