  1. I was considering this exact same problem, apparently the 400i's topo is a bit naff, so we went for a 300 and fitted a micro sd card with part of the uk topo already on it
  2. Sorry, but 2000, 2500, 2700 ? what's the difference ? on these fameart they say (in very small print) Ni-Mh 1.2v mha and 2300 is this supposed to relate to power ? recharge time ? capacity ?
  3. Was out yesterday, over birmingham way and decided to get some cache's done, and despite having some brand new rechargables in my oregon 300 the batteries only lasted a few hours !!! AND i'd fogotten to bring spares !! so what's the best make ? does it make a difference which charger you use ? I'm using 'FAMEART' batteries and charger, and am not particularly impressed
  4. After we borrowed a friends colorado for a weeks caching in shropshire, we loved it's paperless thing, but not too hot on the wheel on it, just got an oregon 300, our first ever gps, and haven't had any problems with accuracy at all. I'm very impressed with it

  6. Ok, visited garmin's website and downloaded to the latest software version which seems to have sorted some of the cache details, but other discriptions are still showing the same types of error do i need to try a new pocket query ? Any help would be appreciated Ta

Hi Guy's, am i dense or missing somthing here ? borrowed a friends colerado a couple of weeks ago, loved it's paperless ability and the way it stored all the local cashes, so, we've just bought a oregon 300, and having loaded a pocket query onto it, on the cache descriptions i'm getting a lot of guff like: <div style="text-align:center"><font face="Times new roman" size="4"> etc....... Where am i going wrong with this ?
