Thank you for the help Neos. I have a question about the mapping software though, which one should I buy? I am leaning towards the 60 Cx (I can't justify spending the extra money on the compass and barometer) What exactly is the difference betwen the 76 Cx and the 60 Cx?

Well it bugged out, but here was the OP Ok I have been looking at finding a GPS for 3 days now starting off not knowing anything about them . I have finally narrowed it down to Garmin as a manufacturer and the following models: eTrex Legend HCx - I was going to be buying from Cabela's so this was going to be $250 +tax + 80$ for a topo miniSD card. GPSMap 60Cx - I then found GPSNow (which I will be ordering from no matter what) and saw that this was only $10 more than I was planning to spend at Cabela's on the Legend. Basically, is it worth the upgrade? I will be using this for hunting, fishing, and of course geocaching. Also on topo maps. Is it better to get the software program (not entirely sure how this works, but I am fairly good with computers so I'm sure I could figure it out) or just getting the miniSD card for my region since I doubt I will be traveling out of it for a while? I think that's about it
