  1. We were caching in an urban area nearby when we found the remainder (probably about a quarter left) of a joint IN the cache. It was a keyholder cache under a lampost skirt. Near the cache, still under the skirt, was a large package of peanuts. Luckily, I had another bag for the log and was able to dispose of the illegal contents and replace the log. I left the peanuts although I figure that whomever they were meant for may not really need them now for a case of the muchies! The funniest part is that I have met the cache owner and she is the very proper wife of a minister. I'm sure she was horrified when she read that log!
  2. I'm almost at a loss for words...this is the most amazing geocaching tool! I bought a reconditioned Nuvi 750 in September to use in my car and motorhome. Then in October, I bought DH a 76Csx for hunting. That's when I remembered geocaching. I did the paper thing very briefly...it wasn't very convenient (especially when I left all those printouts at home before going on a camping trip!) and was time-consuming. Next I tried getting a Palm and using it to cache paperless with DH's unit...good but not the best....especially since I would run off with his GPS when he wanted to use it for hunting. Enter your fabulous, wonderful, fantastic Macro and tutorials. I have no idea how all of these things work together but I don't need to know because your tutorials are so incredibly easy to follow! Keep in mind, I've only really been doing this since the end of October, work full time and have little time left for caching. Up until yesterday, all our caching had been done using the 76Csx and the printouts or the Palm. DH left his unit in the boat at the lake. We wanted to do some caching while shopping in a nearby town. Until yesterday, our largest number of finds in a day was 8. Using my Nuvi 750 and your very wonderful tutorials, we found 12 yesterday! Including a very tiny nano. The 750 was spot-on all day and super easy to use. I rarely had to resort to using the coords/sattelite page since it generally put us right on top of the cache without them. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Now I can cache wherever I go even if DH wants to go hunting. I can't wait to see how the two units compare side by side.
  3. ...as you leave the funeral headed for the cemetery, your husband asks, "are there any caches in this cemetery?"
