  1. Thanks so much for all the input... I have been learning so much over the last few days about geocaching. I have also just found my first 3 geocaches today. What a lot of fun. 8-) Thanks again and have a great new year
  2. Hi, Okay, I'm not used to saying it for any type of electronics, but I'm a newbie when it comes to geocaching. Sorry for what may be some really dumb questions, but although I'm learning quickly, I still have not figured everything out. Okay, first off, I have a Magellan Triton 400, now when I go through the listings I notice the link that says. "load directly to garmin gps unit"... so right away I wonder, is there a way to directly upload to a magellan unit? Second and probably a more important question, today I entered some coordinates to find a geocache near where I was, and according to all the info I know aproximately where I am supposed to be... although when I walked there, my coordinates were quite a bit off. Am I doing something wrong, or am I entering my numbers wrong? Let me give you more info... I was looking up geocache GC1E5MT it says the coordinates are N 43° 33.892 W 080° 16.159 But when I got into the area, my coordinates read 43.56387N amd 080.26946W... how come I'm that far off? Thanks, I hope that in a few weeks I'll be able to talk the lingo a little better, but I have to start somewhere. Thanks everyone and I hope you are all having or had a great Christmas break. Frank
