I look forward to seeing this film. My friend worked on set and has been to a screening and gave it a great review. I'd like to add that I am an avid geocacher with a potty mouth and can be quite vulgar but I always pay attention to the movies rating. Maybe the people who walked out should try it sometime.

Has anybody heard of or seen the movie Splinterhead? I saw the trailer on YouTube and it had a very funny and realistic geocaching scene!

I think that is a great idea.

I was pissed off when I realized the cache I had gone to was a big fat lie. I did have fun writing the log and made it so over the top that people would hopefully realize. GC1CM6Z was the cache.

I have about 210 and the majority of them are hikers.

I have seen one dude try calling muggles "others." It's from the show Lost in case not everyone is familiar. I personally like muggle but I can see how some people don't.

My personal high is 30. The gang and I had fun doing it. We weren't rushed and the caches were cool. I have some friends that have done over 80 in long island and one friend in particular that has done over 100 in a day. I personally lose interest if I have to get out of the car for one, drive to the next, get out of the car, drive, etc.

I don't think it is against the rules at all. I look at it this way.... If you don't like urban, don't do urban. If you don't like micros, don't do micros. If you don't like ticks.... well you get the point.
