  1. Their web site say expected delivery of mid-December, but with the holidays and the mail I'm not looking for them until the end of Dec or first of the year.
  2. OK... I understand the reason for both coins now. I'd still like the original 3 and 1 that I originally posted for. Thanks.
  3. I was driving home yesterday and called my wife and asked her what was in the mail. She said another coin package. Quick! Open it up and tell me what's inside! The Geoghost Coin has arrived and it's great looking. Thanks for having a few extra to share. Now I think I have to spend little time with my GAA creed. I'm not addicted... I'm not addicted... I'm not addicted...
  4. As I wrote many times we do not take preorders. There will be a special order form on the internet. BTW it is needed to say, that the creator of this great design is Jan Bartovsky (geocaching nick Janb). You have to realize there are 2 types of people who post to a page like this - the first type reads the whole thread, understands there is no preorder, and posts their intention for wanting coins when they become available. They want you to know there is intrest in your coin. This is good when you are thinking about making 200 coins and you can see there is intrest in 1000 coins. The second type of person who posts only sees the title 'Czech Geocoin', they don't read any of the thread, and post they want '2 please'. You've made the fact known that there are no preorders. The first type of person will watch this thread and will know when to go to your website to order. The second type of person doesn't have a clue of what is going on and won't know they've missed ordering until 3 months after the coins have been delivered. I hope most of the people are the first type and it's just a couple of people who are the second type. I wouldn't be surprised though, if it were the other way around. Also, congratulations to Jan for an outstanding design.
  5. I think what ABXGuy means is this is the 5th annual occurrence of this event. Dates change from year to year, so it may be earlier than previous Convergences, but there has been one every winter and this is the 5th such event. He doesn't say it's the oldest, just that it's the oldest continuously held event. There may be some earlier ones, but they are have not been held regularly. Not trying to pick details here. It's a great event and by past logs and with talking to people who have attended, it adds a 'caching in the deep snow' aspect to the sport. Some people put their caching activities on hold at first snowfall and don't start up again until the daffodils bloom. This will be our first time to attend this event and it looks to be a spectacular event.

    Coin Clubs

GCC is a business where their objective is to design and sell coins. Nice concept and very collectible in today's market, but they really have nothing to do with events. Although I've heard lots about them, I'm not sure what SWAGS does. Do they produce coins for events or produce coins for the sake of making coins only? The Seven Summit series is similar to GCC - make a coin and they will come. There are also coin clubs where their sole purpose is to purchase coins for their membership (Nurse Dave and SD coin club). These seem to be regional to take advantage of shipping to a small area plus many eyes watching for new coins makes sure you don't miss something. They might deal in all coins, states only, events, etc. I'm not quite sure what direction you're proposing. Up here in Mich we don't have a regional 'coin club' (yet) where the purpose is to just buy coins, so we've been on or own. I'd be interested to see what you're proposing. (That meant yes).
  7. Excellent design. Simple, elegant, very nice. So many coins are so over-designed with way too much color added. You did a great job. I'm looking forward to them going on sale. Thanks.
  8. Got 2 of mine today. Should have a second order with 2 more. Maybe tomorrow or Friday.
  9. When you go to the coin page, it says $7.50 includes shipping and delivery confirmation.
  10. From what I thought, and I went back and reread the thread, that this design was a suggestion from Maverix. It was posted only as a suggestion. No one either confirmed or denied the design. Orange Hippo was fronting this thread, but he had been laid up medically is why this sat for so long. The last word on artwork was OH's post of Nov. 6th saying artwork would be coming. I guess it did!
  11. I believe if you're a PayPal member, they have your shipping address on file. If you're not a member, it prompts you to fill the information in. Mine is usually filled when I go to PayPal - which is too often now days.
  12. Got my order in for 3 of these. Waiting for the Silver ones (in breathless anticipation). You haden't mentioned color, but it looks like this coin lends itself to no color (at least by the picture shown). If it is, that's great. Some of the nicest coins are colorless. Or made in ... Silver... Did I mention I like the silver ones? Man, the ol' brain drains all of its 'Reasoning fluid' when I see them.
  13. You're right about the numbers: 300 and 700. I've found their listing of number of coins is often wrong. It probably defaults to 100 unless another number is inserted.
  14. Nothing in today's mail. Maybe tomprrow.
  15. I agree. A poker chip is a sig item, different than a coin. Metal for metal is what I've always done.
  16. Got my email. Let's see now, do I want to pay for this one or pass on it... Hmmm... At this point my inner voice kicks in, 'Wat-r-ya, stoopid or somptin? Pay the nice man and move along.' OK, sent my money and am moving. Thanks for the coin. I love excitement like this.
  17. Same here. Shipping is all yours.
  18. 2 hours into a 7 day auction and the bidding is up to $52. This looks to be like another MiGO seasonal.
  19. Halfway down the list. Not bad for a 24K dialup. Couldn't get the hampster to run any faster this afternoon.
  20. PayPaled for 4. Thanks guys. I've been watching this one for a long time. Great looking coin.
  21. Addicted...Addicted... who's addicted (he said with trembling hands)? Just spending some time at the computer...NO you can't have the computer - GO AWAY - THIS IS IMPORTANT! No problem on this end. Must be talking about someone else.
  22. Glad to see you're back. Hope everything is OK. I've been on medical for 2 months and know what a drag it can be. Gives me time to cruise the coin forums, though. Good news is, I go back to work in a week. Just know the coin will be great. Thanks for your effort.
  23. Testing with a one and a two and a three.....
