There was an Event in Minnesota a few years back that was dedicated to Puzzle Caches. Some of the CO's got together and gave away coords to their caches as well as instructions on how to solve them. You could either just plug the coords in and find them or look at the instructions on how to solve them and do it that way....

Just looking for a few good people to cache with. I live in West Monroe, Louisiana. So anywhere close to here is good with me...I am up to traveling when it comes to caching, just looking for people relatively close to me....I have been out of the loop for about 2 years with a cache here and there but nothing serious and I am ITCHING to get back out there and cache. I was a Caching Machine for about 2 1/2 years than just started piddling out. This area is new to me and my husband does not want me caching alone...To many dangers of the poisonous kind and he does not have the time to go with me..I started caching in Arizona moved to Minnesota, than down to New Orleans and Mississippi and finally here to West Monroe. My husband is a little worried about the poisonous factor here and I am the type to just GO, GO, GO and not think... Anyone want to get together and show me the ropes so I won't end up dying would be wonderful! I think this state is beautiful in it's own right and I am ready to explore, just looking for someone to cache with. Email me at lisa@twincitytrolleys.com

Dumb Acts. Who else is guilty?

1. Took the cache back to the car to sign the log and look through the goodies. Got the cache back in it's hiding spot, got home about an hour away and went through my backpack and found the log nestled nicely at the bottom of my backpack. I did not return to the site, however I did email the cache owner to let them know of my stupidity and that the log would need to be replaced. 2. My very first geocache was on Lake Powell, I believe a 4 0r 5 terrian rating and had to climb sandstone rock face in FLIP FLOPS. 3. Climbed up a steep embankment hanging on to Buckthorn as I went, slipped on wet leaves and did a backwards sommersault all the way back down the hill. Did a quick "Look around" To make sure no one saw me and gave up. Still need to get back to that one. -
Explain why did you choose your Users Name/Geocaching name
Flaggal replied to DisneyXtreme's topic in How do I...?
When I started caching, I lived in Flagstaff, AZ. The residents of Flagstaff shorten the name to Flag. I am a gal and I use to reside in Flagstaff. Hence the name Flaggal -
Anyone a collector or goodies from caches?
Flaggal replied to Flaggal's topic in General geocaching topics
I actually started collecting the bracelets after my father received a heart transplant. He is big into the organization of Source One a group for donors and recipients. He gave me a bunch of bracelets with "donate life" on them and I use them to place in caches, since than, I started collecting all bracelets as I found them... -
Hello Mindy My name is Lisa....I started Caching in 2008 and 2 years later, I am still into as much as I was when I first started 2 years ago..I am 42, soon to be married and cache alone...My other half is not into it like I am.....I do all my caching pretty much by myself...I know I drive him nuts because EVERYTHING AND EVERYWHERE WE GO....Caching is always involved...Maybe not a caching frenzy but if we go camping I will try to clean the general area up of caches....I HAVE TOO....I get anxious if I don't....I wish he would enjoy it as much as me so I don't feel rushed but that is the way it goes I guess...For example...He just bought a boat...My reaction? OH GOODIE, I can go to the lakes/rivers now and hit those canoe/island caches that can only be done by boat....Nevermind the fishing part of it.....I am excited just so I can get those caches that rated 5 star terrian....I don't see that excitement ending anytime soon...I am just as addicted to it as I was 2 years ago...Glad to see you are enjoying yourself Flaggal Lisa

Anyone a collector or goodies from caches?
Flaggal replied to Flaggal's topic in General geocaching topics
yes....I aways trade...I do not have children, so when I Scoop up or trade..It is for myself...and I trade other adult oriented items. I always trade in return...but rarely is it children goodies....My boyfriend likes the Hotwheels goodies...etc....I have certain things that I look for and trade accordingly.... -
I love doing earthcaches and Virtuals...they are one of my favorites..especially in the winter months, i live in Minnesota and these are the caches I love doing in the winter.....one problem.....alot of the time, I download the caches onto my gps without reading the description...I get there, load up the IPHONE and find out i need a Thermometer....Thermometer????????? (hopefully I spelled that right) I need to take a reading of the water temp. Oh lordy, you have to be kidding me? I am at the cache site and I am unprepared......I understand the logics of the cache however I do not go out caching with a thermometer on hand.....I understand the research that goes into one of these caches and can appreciate it fully...however........I am far away from home and no thermometer on hand.....What is a poor gal to do? I walk away with a DNF. URGGGGG

I would have to say "skirt lifting" is the worst..... Only reason I say this is because when you lift it squeals and makes the most god aweful noise I have ever heard, you can never do one of these easily or quietly....They suck and they are the worst!!!

I recently moved to Le Sueur, Minnesota from Flagstaff, Arizona. I have found over 400 caches in a year before moving here to Minnesota...It is cold and frigid and I have no one to cache with......I have found about 10-20 caches since moving here 4 months ago.....That is not ENOUGH!!! I am itching to go out and cache but have no one to go with....Or maybe it is the cold and isolation that keeps me grounded....It would help me out to have a friend to cache with...Please...Lets cache and have some fun...I am not afraid of the cold and snow...I just need someone to keep me motivated. Pictures - Cool Cache Containers (CCC's)
Flaggal replied to AmishHacker's topic in General geocaching topics
I would have to say that this is the coolest camo I have found so far...and I have only found just over 200. Looking up from the ground it looks like an ordinary nest....now, when you are looking down from the top....You have a cache container -
We have some beautiful fall colors here in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Aspens were beautiful this fall.
