The closest MOC to me is seveal states away, so I don't think I would travel that far to place TB's.

There isn't a letter yet, however several tags have been printed that can be attached to the bug. TTracker posted one. Look in his post dated March 1st.

How about geocacheless?

As you scroll down the list of caches, it will be marked in green under the cache icon,"members only" or something like that.

Have just recently purchased our GPS. Since my job takes me around the world, I guess I can't say I travel just to geocache but it sure is fun!
On April 1 through 13, I will travel to Hong Kong, Guilin and Beijing. I looked up caches in China (excluding Hong Kong)and found 4-5 sites only. Most are virtual - I will find a couple and create a couple. I saw someone else's post / mile estimate ~8,000 miles...WOW! What a blast this is!
Even though it's a virtual, check out Lantau in Hong Kong. It is well worth the trip and is not far from the airport.

The reason you didn't see any MOC's in your search is that you must be a member to see them. I think I can speak for most other members when I say I didn't become a member to have MOC's, but to help support Jeremy with this sight. For all he has done, I feel it is a small amout to give. I do not forsee myself setting any MOC's.

Give the bugs a goal of getting back to any cache in your area (include your zipcode so carriers can find a choice). I would put a laminated tag on it as well as the TB tag to maybe help keep it moving.
-
First question, was the bug listed on the cache page where you picked it up? If not, then the owner must 'Drop it off' in the cache. Then you can pick it up. Go to the track travel bug section, type the bug id number in the box under the icon, then click log this bug. then you can 'grab it'. Hope this helps.

Go and ask if you can hide one there. The worst they can say is no.

I have had one return from Kentucky and another is on the way. I did have to travel 25mi to pick it up from the cache.
-
After the bugs get you back safely, I think they should go to the nearest cache in these locations:
ground zero, NYC
Pentagon. somewhere in DC? or just outside DC?
sorry, these are the only 2 I can think of at this time

Looks like you just need some better caching weather. I noticed there hasn't been any activity on nearby caches either. I think once the weather gets better, it'll start moving.

Hi BigToe,
I don't know if there are many Livingston Co. cachers out there. There are quite a few active ones in the tri county area. We are in the early stages of planning a picnic for July at Kensington. If you have any questions, you can write me at clatmandu@yahoo.com Clay

Thanks BJ,
I know about the caches there, didn't have time to look for them though. Went up to Montreal River ice climbing.

Makes sense to me, and I don't have children.

The Canadian GeoCoins are fantastic. Shiny and detailed. They are the same size as the US silver dollar. I went to a coin shop and picked up hard plastic dollar holders to put them in befor placing them in a cache. The instructions I printed on a label to fit around the edge of the holder, which will keep it closed.

This morning I shot six holes in my freezer, I must have cabin fever. "I need two more boat drinks."

Has anyone else noticed the small map on the cache pages doesn't match up with the location. I just looked at a few in the Detroit area and the small map is of the Baltimore MD area. Last night, some showed Kansas.
