  1. I'm just a complete innocent bystander in Virginia, hoping to help bugs after they hit Bristol, but I would think that Ernie Irvan would be in the lead, since he hit the cache in a tie BUT has 14 more miles on him than three others...Trickle, Hamilton and Atwood. Then the recently revived Mark Martin would be in 5th, since he hit the cache but has 85 less miles than the others. Just a thought!! I'm having fun watching all of your bugs making their way north, south, west, north, then south, then west..ha ha!
  2. Hey, I like your sweet ride....hahaha....what type of car is that?
  3. Thanks for the help! I had Jimmie Johnson and Michael Waltrip on the list..I guess there's no Michael Waltrip? Will be watching these guys!! I didn't even really know there were races like this...duh....maybe I can get in on the action next time!
  4. OK...I am trying to find all of the bugs like my log above mentions...sorry for bugging you all again..but who is #48? The Bug doesn't have any details on the page, driver name, anything. Just the number. Who does this car belong to, driver wise... The rest I've been able to piece together from the forum posts...
  5. Hi all!! I have been caching for a year but rarely visit the forums...so glad I did today! This is such a cool concept and I hope that everybody's bugs make it to the finish line. We live BETWEEN Bristol and Dover...so will try and help bugs move along when they reach this point! I'm setting the bugs on my watchlist so I can cheer them on and help them when they reach VA. Good luck to all!!!! CNSpotz
  6. I personally love cemetaries, and loved touring them waaay before I ever discovered geocaching. My family is religious, and we have respect for the dead....that's why we want to REMEMBER people instead of ignoring their graves because it might make US feel uncomfortable. In fact, when thinking about geocaching in other areas, I seek out cemetary caches in hopes that I will find a REAL TREASURE...which would be the grave of somebody famous, or somebody interesting, or anything else. I have oodles of pictures of the cemetary on Key West...I hope there's a cache there, so that when I go back I can log a cache. I also love Hollywood Cemetary in Richmond...we did 2 cemetary trips during a great caching experience in Charlotte and found some awesome graves with tons of historical value. So my opinion is...people who are afraid of how cemetaries make them feel should avoid cemetaries. Those of us who face our mortality and pay our TRUE respects by reflecting on lives that we might not have known about without caching....we are obviously in this game for the right reasons..to learn and experience our environment, whether it's a great woodland area or a historical cemetary.
  7. I only lurk a little bit on the forums.....I am pretty busy, but am searching the forums occasionally for advice on placing my first cache....I have 88 finds, and am looking to place my first cache and want to make sure I do it correctly. Everybody's welcome to email or say hi, and I hope to find some good hints in the forums for what I'm looking for!! CNSpotz
  8. Hey....as a new'er cacher, I am proud to announce that I did a lot of reading the website to make sure I didn't screw something up when it came to logging, finding, exchanging, blah blah. So yay for me, and hopefully other new'erbies that take the time to make sure they're using proper etiquette before hitting the trails. Also, when do I NO LONGER consider myself a newbie? Ha! CNSpotz
