  1. I tried all that...deleting the app and reinstalling and no change.This one has me baffled.Could be something simple but I can't figure it out.There's an update for the phone's software that I haven't done...I'll try that first I guesss. :-{
  2. By reboot do you mean restart the phone? I have done that a few times but no luck.It is showing me as looged in but offline but Geocaching.com is offline today so maybe that's why it's telling me I'm offline.Didn't notice it yesterday though.I was thinking about restoring my phone to original settings.Maybe I'll wait till Geocaching comes back online and see what happens.
  3. I got a problem I can't figure out. When I try to log my finds with the geocaching app on my iphone it says "sorry we can't log your finds at this time please try again later".I have logged tons in the past, up to September 13 actually.I also got the same app on my ipod touch and I can do it no problem.I was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem and if so how to rectify it. Thanks
  4. Is that a free download?I can't seen to find a good link.
  5. It is a map of a job we're doing, not stolen but given to me to help me out on the job. Thanks for the responses...I'l try and dnload that program and see what happens.
  6. I got a question for yas...someone loaded a map in my gps this morning and it's a .img file. How can I handle this so that it shows up in mapsource.
  7. I'm not sure how I did it but when I plugged my Nuvi 1250 in to my old computer I had the city navigator maps appear in mapsource.I got a new computer now but I can't figure out how to get the maps in mapsource on it....maybe I can't.Also wondering if there's a free download on North America city navigator.

  9. From what I've seen from looking at the maps it's only the logging roads that are missing. But I've only studied Western Newfoundland. These are the trails that alot of geocaches are hidden! ;-)
  10. Alot of road/trails are missing in 3.2 for Newfoundland too. Here is one spot N48 46.182 W058 00.652 Sorry don't know how to do the screen shots.
  11. Thanks dfx...winrar did the trick for me.Gotta say though that in my area 2.1 is more realistic when showing vegetation andsome other stuff. Thank you Ibycus for offering this.
  12. Ok got through that to where I click extract to ibycus topo 32 but I get an error which reads Can not open file 'D:\torrent\Ibycustopo32.iso' as archive What did I do wrong?
  13. Ok I've downloaded it...dnloaded 7-zip.I rt click on it and under the 7-zip option the extract to ibycus 3.2 is not there. The options are Add to archive Compress and email Add to "torrent.7z" Compress "torrent.7z" and email Add to "torrent.zip" Compress to torrent.zip" and email What do I click here or have I done something wrong.
  14. I have the 60 cx and love it...I also have the iPhone with the geocaching app so now I am totally paperless. Trade items...I like unique items...not often I take things but I leave things like geocaching pins,my signature coins, souveniers of my home town.I live on the east coast so we collect Sand Dollars from the beaches here and put them in caches,Recently we found a Sand Dollar from the pacific ocean,Washington state.Found a dollar bill from the honduras a while ago too...interesting stuff is what I like.Tim Horton coffee gift certificates are nice too.
  15. I personally want cachers to find my caches...some might take you a few minutes to find but you will. But we have a cacher in our area who has 63 caches hidden and 21 of them have never been found....some are a couple years old.So many cachers have posted to him that he IS missing the point of Geocaching and I agree.I found one of his a couple weeks ago that was 12 meters off...too far in my opinion. When I posted I entered that it was 12 meters off and he asked me to remove that part of my post...I did remove it but he refused to update the coords. It only proves that he has probably done this on purpose. In my opinion he is only hogging space on the map.He takes us to some nice areas but no cache.I like the areas geocaching takes me but I also like finding the cache.I,like a few more are just ignoring some of his caches. I have an iPhone with the GC app but I rely on my GPS map60cx when lookin for a cache.I like my phone though because I have all the info on the cache and I can log my finds in the field...totally paperless.
  16. I got a Garmin 60cx almost 2 yrs old now and I got a 4 gb sdhc card in it.I would say the Oregon can take them too.
  17. Ok thanks...just wondering.Thought it was some trouble on my end.
  18. Hi just tried to get on geocaching.com several times in the past few minutes and can't get on.Anyone else having this trouble?
  19. Seems like this is just what I've been looking for.I got a problem though....when I click send to IPod it says no IPod detected. What could be my problem? Thanks for any help.
  20. I'd like to know how to add a picture in the cache description that would be visible on the cache page.
  21. That's just what I figured. Thanks for the quick answer.
  22. Yeah my post didn't show up...my internet is not so good either. My problem is....I got a 4gb card in it and want to put all of Canada on it.But I want to do it in chunks...so I put about 1 gb on there and it went on fine. Then another day I went to add another chunk and that also went on there fine.But....the first chunk was gone.Is there a way to add maps in chunk without this happening?
  23. I'm not sure how it's gonna work for you but here's what I did.I have a Garmin and map source...I clicked the parts of the map I wanted on my GPS,it turns pink,I then clicked send to device. Hope this helps.
