Wish all my trips to the mailbox ended like this! Unfortunately, the Caribbean Neptune is a gift for a geofriend. We did a 20 hour marathon caching trip together and he said he had seen a beautiful coin online. He described it to me and it was this one. It just so happened that I had traded for one with everyone's favorite D.J. so am giving this one as a thankyou for such a great day. Does anyone else have a Caribbean to trade? I'd love one for myself.

Mine arrived today and are even better in person, if that's possible. I bought one of each finish and it's hard to pick a favorite. I know you've said that this isn't your usual style, but I hope to see more like them. Thank you!

Don't mean to derail, but what exactly gets a cacher banned from the site? Is it ever temporary or always permanant?

all you have to do to make your pics a smaller size is go to the picture in photo bucket. right above the pick is a pull down menu that says 'edit image'. go to 'resize'. the next page will have a little box that says 'preset sizes'. Choose 'medium', click 'apply' and then at the bottom of the page, click on 'replace original'. that's all there is to it. the link stays the same so you don't have to do anything there. next time you open the thread, the pic should be smaller. good luck; it took me a few posts til I got the hang of it!

This is something that happened to me. The person who was sending me a misson had made a trade for a certain coin. It didn't come and didn't come and didn't come. She wanted me to get the mission on time and this is what she did. She wrapped up a picture of the coin and told me only to open it if I wanted to know what was coming. When she finally received the trade coin she then mailed it on to me. This way I received the package on time and received the actual coin a little later. Of course I opened the little package so I knew what was coming! If you really want to send out the first coin you ordered rather than one of the others that are also coming in soon and would like to send it out very quickly that is something you might think about doing if it doesn't arrive soon. That's a great idea. I'll remember that if I ever find myself in the same situation.

Why don't you post pictures of what you got in your mission while you wait? That's the best part of missions, seeing what everyone received.

One of my favorite coins from Momiji. Have to keep buying the Acadias because I keep giving them away, usually to out of staters. And an awesome trade from avroair. I loved this one when I saw the pic before the event and was thrilled to get my hands on one. Thanks for the trade, avroair. [/img]

What can you tell us about the Delorme travel bug? That looks like a glass world attached to the tag, is it? The travel bug is a glass earth marble keychain with the TB tag attached to it. The coin is drilled and attached to it are the travel bug and three little laminated instruction cards. I think they say: don't leave in a cache, hand pass cacher to cacher, and I forget the third one. Here is the the TBs page.

DeLorme had a CITO event a few weeks ago that I missed because I was out of town, but I asked hollora and a few other people who were there if many Earthas were released. All told me that the word on the street was that they were about gone. I was surprised too and asked about it when I stopped into the DeLorme Map Store a few days ago. DeLorme confirmed it. They said that they had handed out many at functions (such as outdoor trade shows) and the ones placed in caches weren't logged so no one kept track of who got them. Only 60 or so were ever logged and they were surprised about that. I asked why they thought people wouldn't want to log them and it sounds like they've been kicking that question around themselves and haven't really come up with an answer. Not everyone who got them were cachers and might not be aware of what they have. But what about the ones that are in the hands of people who do know what they are? Maybe some of the cachers of the unlogged coins will comment...

I am angry once again at Cacher which ignore the mission of the Coin more or less. All the same what one asks in the description for, the most write only one " you come along " or "out" o.ä. and then nothing what fits anyhow to the order of the Coin. Why is that thus? Received the best package from sarahbelle this afternoon. [/img] [/img] I got a thick envelope that included a beautiful handmade card. Is someone a scrapbooker? The cardstock is an artist style with blades of grass pressed into it and then layered with other papers, a flower and butterfly with a lovely note inside. Also included was a handpainted picture frame and five interchangable labeled pictures of Canadian wildflowers that sarahbelle took and printed herself. I am crazy for wildflowers and knew every single one you included. It was hard to decide which one to display first! Not just one, but two great coins: a white veined butterfly and a 2009 wildflower coin. I've looked at both of these recently and couldn't have picked two more perfect coins for myself than these. I love them! Thanks also for the flower stickers you included. I've read some of your posts and saw you are a new coin collector too, as am I. I will put one of those flower stickers on the package I'll be sending you tomorrow as a little thank you for such a wonderful mission!

I'm interested in seeing how this works out for you. I'm so on the fence about a refund. I love the coins still and (if I did cancel my order) would buy them all when they became available, but the vague response you got concerns me.
