  4. Whooeee was this a challenge! I became so obsessed over solving this and rescuing Matilda that all night last night I kept dreaming that I finally identified that one coin that was missing! I'm sure my husband will be relieved to know he'll be able to sleep without me shouting "Ah! I FOUND IT!" all night long! It sure was great to team up with LadyBee and Laval and finally put this to rest, especially if it means Matilda will get to come home!

  8. OK...so we know that I had 9 items on the receipt from the Post Office, and one of them was $100. Let's work from there for the total amount?? We know that my Trip started in Washington, and I had lunch in Ontario, OR...and then I had coffee in Salt Lake City, UT and then I continued 4 1/2 hours on my way to Texas before stopping for the day. This might help figure out where I stopped and wrote the questions?? Maybe Dr. Neal will know how much the package weighed? Or can that be figured out from the price of shipping it?? Bringing the questions to the new page.
  9. I'm so glad Dude enjoyed his mission! I love this picture, especially since that bone was a total goof because I had it in my head Dude was a Lab! Monte and I had a lot of fun getting the package ready for him and I learned a lot about buying wheat free treats, many of what I figured would be wheat free weren't. The liver snacks went over very well with my dogs too. The package I bought for them lasted all of two days when one of the cats figured out how to knock it off the top shelf and open it, then it was fair game for the dogs and cats! Sorry the coins weren't ones from your seeking list. I wanted to send at least one from your list but couldn't manage it this time around. Also updating my mission status. 1. sent email - 7/13 2. 11. I loved this! Must be something about Montana girls, I'm always out caching in my shorts and sandals. I bought a pair of hiking shoes to wear while caching, I think I've worn them about 3 times. It was great seeing you drop one of those coins for someone to find. Mine is one of my most prized coins and mom couldn't have been happier about the one she found when we went to Helena.
  12. I will refer to this mood because it's the look mom and I both had during one of our cache outings. We hadn't paid much attention to the terrain rating on a new hide and we were determined to get the FTF. When we got there mom rushed out of the car to beat me to the cache while I was busy getting some swag out of the back of the car. Imagine standing by the back of your car and all of a sudden you hear a yell and see your mother disappear! I leaped the guardrail and made it to the top of the hill in time to see my 65 year old mother go bounce, roll, bounce, roll, bounce to the bottom of the hill! Fortunately, it wasn't a very long hill but it was steep and all rock and gravel. I didn't want to land on top of her so I was trying to find some solid footing and asked if she was OK. All she said was "Nope!" and then she burst into laughter so I knew she really was! I finally made it down the hill (still on my feet!) and helped her up. She had a few bruises but after the tumble she took it's amazing nothing was broken! She did do a number on the screen of the GPS but it still worked and she was determined to find the cache! We got the FTF and a whole lot of laughs and I learned that my mom is a lot tougher than I give her credit for! We went back up to that area a week ago and laughed over the whole thing again, especially since she refused to get anywhere near the edge of the hill!
