Today I found a cache with 8 trackables, yes, eight. 6 were travel bugs, and 2 were geocoins. I took 3 travel bugs and 1 geocoin since I know they're safe in my hands and that I will log them, and pass them on. From the ones I didn't pick, two had pretty specific goals that I couldn't help out, and I left the other two for others to find. There's alot of travel bugs that were listed for the cache but weren't there when I showed up. It seems like alot of trackables go missing, or randomly appear (without being logged) from the cache that I found them in. I feel like I probably should have picked up the other two with non-specific goals because of the caches tendency to lose or gain trackables mysteriously.

I found a silver one today in Toronto! Its been traveling for a short while (2 caches) but I'll make sure to place it somewhere else so it travels far and wide!

Hi, I've been reading the forums quite a bit and have noticed that one drawback to the geocaching app on the iphone is the inability to save maps once their internet connection is gone. One way of getting around this is simply taking a screenshot of the map before going out on a hunt. In order to take a screenshot, you must click the home and power button in unison. The map will then show up in your photos. Hope this helps!
