Just went through the process with my Nuvi 260W. Everything seems to work as described, except I don't get any information concerning the caches except for the waypoints. Routing works ok but I would like to have the additional information about the caches. Any suggestions?

We just started geocaching a little over a month ago, using a Garmin Nuvi 260W. It worked well enough for us to find 50 caches our first month, but I decided to buy a Garmin eTrex Venture HC specifically for caching. Now we have both units when we go out and the eTrex is a lot more accurate and quicker for me to use. We got a really good deal on the eTrex through Amazon.com. I think you will be happier with an eTrex or similar unit rather than one designed for automobile use.

I've been geocaching for a little over a month and have quite often left a cache site being self-satisfied with the find but absolutely covered with hitchhikers, burrs, and other sticky things. I normally wear denim jeans and a Tshirt or sweatshirt while caching. Is there any easy way to avoid being glommed onto by weed seeds or any easy way to get them off once they have glommed?
