  1. This oneis close to 2500 from my central california abode........In The Sands of Waikiki
  2. Why is every one hatin'...These people hit 130 in a day!!!!! Who is anyone but an eyewitness to contradict their acheivements or their caching "technique" shall we say.. People like to go slow and some people like to go fast........alot of people looking at the same general area yeilds a higher ratio of found caches....and im appaled that everyone is saying that its like "apples and oranges"....so when you get 130 apples post a thread and we'll congratulate you...get 130 oranges and ill congratulate you too but this is an acheivement and people should not question but congratulate.....good job guys
  3. i became a premium member today and It says that I can change the Forum Title...I did but it still says geocacher? Any help?
  4. back to the original question...my friend and fellow geocacher found a cache that had a laser pointer in it and you had to put the laser pointer in a small pipe-like thing attached to a post and it would show you where the next leg of the cache was by the little red dot. This could double as a cool night cache and a day cache too. BTW, I love the technical mumbo jumbo talk about infared lights and radio scramblers....but you guys have way to much time on your hands!!!!!!
  5. I'm a young guy and iit bugs the crap out of me when I see hints that are for the older crowd that even my dad says...that was before MY time. ... wow thats old Anyway I know there are many young at heart oldies out there who are just as good if not better than younger geocachers becuause they're patient!! Furthermore I like the clues like "think black" if its magnetic or one of my personal favorites...on my easiest hide..."climbers paradise" see if you can figure it out. Not that hard
  6. I take no credit for this idea whatsoever but I saw a few of these containers in caches i've been to. If 100 people would make a few the world would be a little bit cleaner... Use these to wrap around 35mm film canisters and put them in caches around the area. If the forum approvers let this idea stay in this part of the forums itlll get a lot bigger.
  7. Thanks for the links. Anyway...I dont take the least bit of credit for this idea....I picked up Rubeeslpr's CITO container and on the same day I saw one in another cache. If we could getb 100 people to make 5 apeice that would be great.. I'll start a forum inGeocaching topics if thats alright an see if some people will get this idea a little bigger.
  8. Hey I recently picked up a 35mm film canister with a plastic bag in it at a cache. around the outside of the canister it has the CITO logo and it say "use the bag in this case to pick up trash on your way out. Replace it with another bag, and drop trhis case in the next cache you visit." I thought this was a splendid idea, printed a a few labels up and made 6 of my own containers. two questions.... 1. Good Idea? 2. Any one willing to make a printable version of a sheet to make the cases I think it would be a great way to get CITO more incorporated in geocaching

  16. I hate it when you don't find a cache for one reason or another then the cache owner immediately emails you and asked you if you looked in this spot when you still want to go try and find it again...... or they go out to the cache and post a note that its still there after 1 dnf yes its happened to me
