  3. Hey I'm 15, got life on wednesday at our court of honor, have Family life left to go and a project which I have the idea for already. My troop frequently (once a year) under influence of TeamTek has gotten into geocaching. We geocache on almost every outing and often set courses where you have to find a cache that has a compass bearing and distance to the next spot that has a scout related question on it. These event get the orienteering and a lot of the outdoor stuff and hikes done for the younger scouts. Anyway, is anyone going to Jambo? That would be cool to meet up there or something!!

  4. Sounds like there will be lots of stories at that upcoming event! I'm sorry that I'm going to miss them!

Oh, ya... you're not going to be there to defend yourself. Poor guy!

Tomorrow, I hope to get out to the new Ripon TB Hotel to replace that wonderful FTF Log. I've had it since O$ returned it. LOL. Ya. There's going to be ''stories'' told.

Just after today when Laura told me what was up did I finally get the whole thing about the TB hotel...and I really wanted to find that one!!!

  5. Now here's the delema as I see it. I have no baseball knowledge but do have a car. CacheCow's got the know-how but no way to get there. [isn't life tough?!] So I'm seeing - in the near future - my phone ringing with a comprimize. Coordinates shared and ride provided. Sounds like a good deal, right? But now who's saying I'm getting the correct coords? Could it be that I'm going to be mislead, lost a little while the little one swoops in for the FTF!? Maybe. Maybe not. [Yes, life is tough!]

Hmmmm...I think I would like ALL the glory Bill!!!! Ill make it to Motown or wherever the cache is soon enough. Did you see I expanded my horizons and have no dnf's in Ripon anymore B) (I had found chambers but couldn't get the darn cache!! I found the container but it stumped me!! Anyway I'm not a big A's fan but they are getting the Port's next year so I might have to give this one a try

  6. I am 15 but look like I am 12....at my local college there are a few caches so I went (on a saturday in the summer) no one is around and a cop pulls up, hand on his gun and asks what Im doing...I exlpain geocaching to him and show him the cache paper and he says "alright....but girls get scared when guys are in the bushes"......remember its a saturday in the summer no one is around and i look like im 12......funny

  7. I'm going to try to get all my caches up to date before the event so.........On Secret Trail #2 people are saying that there is a new "Keep Out, Private Property" sign. I think that it is actually public property, but not sure....I need some suggestions on what I should do....

Oh BTW this is TeamTek again because I forgot to log out of Peter's name .....again

  8. everyone is taking this way to far. Plain and simple, micros are not the same as traditionals. Yes, the most ingenious hides are micros on a streetcorner that hundreds of people walk by, and some are fun, but what Snoogans is saying is that if a traditional can be placed in a way that it is difficult to find thenits much more rewarding to have bigger trade items, is it not?! Anyway, what he is also saying is that people who throw a film canister in a forest inside a tree are not as creative, or more lazy, than one who can conceal a five gallon bucket inside the same spot with the same difficulty. And yes I have a stupid micro or two, but they are where a traditional is inappropriate, and or really difficult to hide, I have ADHD so I dont have the patience. Also, if you don't like new rules, don't play the game, not the other way around. Snoognas is merely proposing an idea that would make regular, yes regular: "formed, built, arranged, or ordered according to some established rule, law, principle, or type" is the NORMAL cache type on Geocaching.com!!!

(no personal threats, Merely making my point!!!"

  9. come on Tek!!! RyanCTek was so easy to make fun of....and don't you think its sort of a onesided Team!!!

o and i forgot...we already have 34 people coming to the event if my count is correct...a great succes it shall be!!
