    Geocoins

keep it or move it. how hard could it be? Keep the game simple and many more people will enjoy it. Don't overthink it. It's just a game. Go find a cache and put the coin in it. Oh- and have a nice day.
  2. I like geocoins that are relevant to the hobby/sport and are not just a get rich quick scheme to sell as many as possible to fuel the hunger for another geocoin.
  3. Now is the time for cachers to be creative and good art will sell. There has to be a direct tie in to the hobby/sport or people won't buy them as often. If you make smaller batches of high-quality coins, the market will stay strong. If you make large batches of irrelevant coins, the market will slow down. Remember- be creative.
  4. What's next? A Harley-Davidson coin. I'm all for supporting Vietnam vets, but this GEOcoin is jumping the shark.
  5. Just grab and go. Just do it. Don't ask, Don't tell. Play the game, live your life, go caching and have a nice day.

    Moses Coin

Hmmm- I seem to remember the Loggerhead coins going for $13.95 at first sale and many people were griping about the cost but they all sold... I e-mailed for 4 Moses coins.
  7. I sent an e-mail for preorder for 2 sets at the time of first posting, but haven't gotten an invoice yet. I even received a confirmation e-mail way back when. Any idea when I'll get an invoice?
  8. I have a Mystery Puzzle coin. I would like to trade it for a Migo seasonal. Any takers?
  9. When and if I find them, I think the best place to put them will be an open manhole.
  10. Throw out a couple of coins to say they've been shipped to appease the masses. Seems like a bait and switch tactic to me. I'll believe it when I see it.
  11. I have already paid for 2 on 2-27 but I still don't have them. How can more be available? I hope this isn't like the Wyoming coin.
  12. I just got a Mystery Puzzle Coin and was wondering if it has been solved/found yet?
  13. If anyone wants to make the "Jump the Shark" geocoin, I'll buy 2.
  14. Hey- does anyone want to buy some cheap land in Florida? How about some snakeoil? I got a nice bridge over here too... This sounds like you've all been victims of a scam and/or mail fraud. Maybe some of you should consider taking legal action.
  15. If you are concerned over ANYTHING you have placed in a cache, DON'T put it out there. Isn't all this discussion on item etiquette just a bit tiring? Sometimes what you think is right is not the same as what someone else thinks is right. It's just human nature. Go find a cache and have a nice day.
  16. Don't jump to conclusions people. I offered an opinion on the matter. I you don't like my opinion, then keep the replies to yourselves as it just starts trouble and this is supposed to be a friendly, family, environment. Get a sense of humor and go find a cache.
  17. So, if I place an item in a cache and somebody finds it and puts it in another cache or takes it or puts it on ebay, should I be happy or sad from the reults? Neither- If you put it out there, you shouldn't put expectations on it or you will be disappointed. SERENDIPITY
  18. As a recent seller of a moun10bike V3 on ebay, I see no wrong in placing coins up for auction. Moun10bike doesn't care that his coins get sold on ebay anymore than purchasing any other geocoin from ebay. If he objected to the sales, don't you think that he would get involved? If you find a geocoin that is rare and in high demand then it is only fair to say that someone is willing to pay a high price to have it. After all isn't that what drives the U.S economy? All the others on this post that are whining sound like they wish that they could have found that coin so that they might put it on ebay.
