Hi. I’ve seen this asked before but can’t seem to find now. If there a free trial period that can be offered to new people? If there is where and how can I direct someone to it. Andy

Hope this is okay in this forum. I've found a few path tags and have seen holders for them. I was wondering what size and type of drill bit is used when drilling into wood? Andy

Can you allocate your favourite award points on the the new app like you could on the paid app. If so can someone help me on how to. Andy

Okay this may be the issue. Where you click the blue circle with 3 dots to save off line list. To the left will then appear a green circle working its way around, you must ensure this is fully loaded and then to the left of the blue circle with the three dots when completed will be a green circle with what looks like a mobile phone in the centre. Ensure to use the offline line you always click the green circle and not the blue. I hope this now helps. Andy

I have just discussed this with the father in law as he had the same issue. I got him to turn off the wifi then went back into lists and it worked. Please try this.

Latest update to free app
Krosses Krazy replied to Krosses Krazy's topic in Official Geocaching® apps
There doesn't appear to be a way to view all by map. Also you can only download one cache at a time and add to a list. Have you managed to do a few at a time.? The previous app you could load everything that was in an area all at the same time. Disappointing if this feature doesn't come back given the amount of times one goes in and out of phone coverage and the need to download several caches at once. Yes you can run a pocket querie which appears in the list option. I run one from my home location for a 1000 in a five mile radius. You can down load it for offline use. It's a shame they don't just put all this missing options from the paid app into the free one, would be fantastic. Andy -
I see that you can download lists for offline use but as far as I can see it is only then viewable by list and not on the map. Has anyone else found a way of then viewing on map? Andy

Okay one of this years trips to Scotland is Skye. What caches would be recommended for finding those off the beaten track places that are not to be missed? Or any that are just a must to visit? Cheers Andy

The paid app is by far the better one. Why not just make the paid app the free one and I think you will find a lot more happy people. Andy
