Have been watching this discussion with interest and felt it was time to post. First I don't feel central London is the right place for a Mega event in 2012, I've been at the last 2 Mega's and feel that a Mega in London in 2012 would be overshadowed by the Olympics, also a lot of travel and accomodations costs will have been inflated and you will lose out on visitors if it is too expensive. Also the debate on whether the UK can host 2 Mega Events in a year. In the future I feel this can happen but at the moment I just don't think we have the cache headcount to be able to support two events. Personally I would probably only be able to afford the time and money to attend one and I'm sure other people would be the same.

My ex partner and I placed a cache together. The cache listing has remained on his account and I've set up a new account. If I went back and signed the log book could I claim a find on it even though I know exactly where it is?

What a good idea! My coins are here there and everywhere and I get worried when taking to events as I've seen a coin or two being mis placed but if I can keep mine all in one place I would be happier that they weren't going to go walkies! Will have to look out for a nice one of these!

Yay Bristol, less than 2 hours away! Will def try and be there and will try and drag along a few others this time. My 10 year old nephew has been introduced to my addiction and enjoys it so much he wants his own account and a GPS so I can always bring him along with me! I agree that 1 Mega per year is probably best but is there were 2 in 2010, I would plump for Scotland over Harrogate as good to go somewhere new. I loved the Mega at Harrogate but maybe a little soon to do another one there, if there are others willing to organise then let it keep moving around!

Nope, Swansea born and bred. Although I have links to Yorkshire, sister lives just outside Barnsley and was there last week caching around Elsecar.
