Enjoying the tourney, but still looking forward to the NHL resuming! I really think the US women will finally get their revenge on the Canadiens. Look at how they destroyed the Swedes, beating them 6-1, while outshooting them by an obscene margin of 70-9!! They are dialed in, and will not accept Silver this time! USA! USA! USA! USA!

I have had 4 of my TWR/TWR2 coins travel more than 10,000 miles: 26,501 miles - TB2QA19 - Todie's Wild Ride II: SgtMikal says Pay Attention! 21,525 miles - TB18HW3 - Todie's Wild Ride - SgtMikal's 2nd 4-F's Geocoin 13,125 miles - TB2QA92 - Todie's Wild Ride - Kelly's Look Twice Geocoin 11,581 miles - TB1VNBA - Todie's Wild Ride - SgtMikal's Paddle Faster Geocoin The first two appear to be still in the game. The third one has been with the same person for 2 years, so it is probably missing. The last one actually found it's way to me, and is in my collection now. How about everyone else?

It has been far too long since any discussion was held here in this thread. I hope everyone has been well over the last year and a half! I just wanted to share some good news. One of my TWR2 coins (TB2QA19 - Todie's Wild Ride II: SgtMikal says Pay Attention!) had gone missing after a log on 23 August 2011. In that log, the person picked it up in Rhode Island, and said that he would take it on a round-about trip to Florida. Much time had passed, and many emails were sent with no response. THEN...on 20 December 2012, another cacher "grabbed it" from a cache in Florida, and has been touring with it ever since. Miles are being added to it now, and it is getting current qactivity, and spreading the message again. GREAT news! It has now travelled over 26,500 miles! And, if memory serves, it did win the TWR2 race for 2009/10 mileage, but by the time the race ended, the organizers were no longer following the race, so no prizes were sent. That's ok, though...it was fun to watch this guy go all over the world (to Taiwan and back) and spread its message!

DING DING DING We have a winner!!! I really didn't think this would be very hard and hoped more would play along. I put in sort of a trick question with the idea that most anyone who entered would be eligible to win. 1--I was rooting for the 49ers and posted it in my log in a Super Bowl related puzzle cache I found last week. They came Oh So Close!!! It was a fun game! 2--I didn't have a party nor did I attend one. This was what I thought might be kind of a trick question.....But you got it 3--I played in 4 leagues this year. 3 coiner leagues and one with Michigan geocachers. 4--Free question. One of my resolutions was to keep up on my logs and not get too far behind. When I posted this cointest I was only 5 behind mainly because I log in order and one cache had not published yet. We found the coords at an event on Saturday and it was published on Sunday. 5--I am working on 3 challenges 366 Days Calendar Grid, the fizzy challenge and 100 finds per month for 12 months. This is my last month and I hope that I can get the 82 more I still need. I had hoped the other day to get another of the high terrain caches but then it snowed and I won't climb a tree afterwards. This one will be the hardest for me because for most of the ones I have left to do I don't want to do alone and need someone to come with me for safety reasons. 6--I have 2 canaries, 2 cockatiels and 3 zebra finches. I did have parakeets but I lost them a couple of months ago. I had forgotten that I had posted about Ernie on facebook so I was surprised when you knew his name. LOL For those who don't know Ernie Harwell was the voice of the Detroit Tigers while I was growing up. I am a die hard Tiger fan and have been since I knew what the game of baseball was all about. All of my fantasy teams have Tiger in the name. My cockatiels were rescues and aren't tame. I can't have a parrot or another bird that needs to be out of their cage because the dogs are a little too interested in them. Thanks to both of you for playing. I will guess the fizzy challenge is the most difficult one that you are working. 6. Ernie (Harwell) is a gloster canary, and I believe you have some cockatiels as well. 7. OK. I'll give it a shot. I tried doing some research, but could not find any conclusive evidence. So for the first one, I will simply guess. 1. Ravens. I know you like the Red Wings, so you have to hate the Penguins, who are from Pittsburgh. Anyone who hates Pittsburgh hates the Steelers. One is not allowed to like the Steelers and the Ravens, so I am guessing that you would like to see the Ravens win. 2. 20 people at your party. 3. You played in 4 fantasy leagues this year. 4. I resolved to fill my geocalendar this year. I am doing pretty well (filled one day today, making 356/366). If I don't miss any days, I will be done on May 26.
