Just bought a PC Cable w/Cigarette Lighter Adapter (Magellan Original) for my Sportrak yellow. Tried with DataSend and EasyGPS; both GPSr turned off and on; NMEA turned off (as it says in the EasysGPS help) and on with all three standards; Baud rate is always 4800 both on software and GPSr, cable screwed to COM1 tighly -> still get no response from the GPSr whatsoever. Anyone who has encountered similar probs and can help me PLZ Thanx! Edit: Using MS98SE.

I found a canadian Geocoin today and logged it on geocaching.com. In addition, I wanted to log my find at http://www.geocoins.ca - I didn't succeed though. Tried with Opera 7.21 and IE 6.0, but never got any sort of response (log form stayed as it was, track form as well). Shouldn't there be at least _any_ output if the coin is not activated?? @ Geoslider: Plz be aware of the fact that at least in Europe you can count on nearly anyone (aged <55) understanding at least 2 languages (in most cases, one of which is English). Speaking 3 or 4 and understanding another 2 languages is not at all uncommon (pupils here are tought 3 foreign languages in school). So don't hesitate to post your translation prob in english in the local fora or (still more simple) stick to english (eventually, learn some additional foreign languages ) BalkanSabranje
