  1. http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jfpiggy/album?.dir=/4f47 Pics can be found here^^ Note thats not a scratch on the screen of the Legend, but a cat hair (we have 2). Didn't notice it until I uploaded the pics... UPDATE Legend is sold. Palm m125 still for sell though.
  2. Yeah I can take some pics, I'll do so tonight after I get home. I don't have an ebay account. I use my wifes... its poor_eliza EDIT: I am in the process of changing her account to include me, since I use it alot more than her.... so hopefully it'll have my name on there. We havn't ever sold anything on there. If you have any other questions, email me.
  3. I have a Legend for sale. Great shape. Around 4 months old. Comes with cable, instructions, and protective case. $150 shipping included. Also have a Palm m125 for sale. Comes with Body Glove case, 12mb memory card, docking station, and install cd. I'll leave Cachemate on it, and Texas holdem game (was 10 dollars). I'll also throw in an extra faceplate if I can find it. $50 shipping included. Its also in great shape. I'll take PayPal or Money Order. Email me if interested at jfpiggy@yahoo.com I had this for sale about a month ago, but buyer never paid..... I need the money to fix my car. If it doesn't sale here, I'll probably put it on ebay.
  4. He's way more Amish than his avatar. First time I've ever seen anyone use a wooden gps.
  5. I actually live between Clermont and Brownsburg... so I'm neither white trash, or snobbish (I got my flame-proof undies on, so fire away)
  6. Carmel, those richie rich snobs..... bahhh, they can afford to hire people to clean it up. Depends on the date. Its only 30 minutes or so from me....
  7. However little good it may do, it beats sitting on the couch, drinking beer and eatin' chips.
  8. You sure you didn't get it from ebay? One with exactly the same problem on there the other day Probably the internal battery...... Or where it plugs into the cradle... check to make sure there is nothing stuck in there..... maybe making it think its in the cradle all the time.
  9. I was thinking of buying, but, nahh, get bent. I'd rather pay 40 bucks for one from a nice person then 20 bucks from an a******.
  10. I contacted Garmin to see if there was a way to buy empty gps cases, or broken ones, but they said they don't keep broken ones (that are beyond fixin)... and didn't respond about the cases...
  11. I would buy refurbished before buying a used item. You take a chance with either, but you may get a warranty on a refurb. (My refurb xbox has a full warranty).
  12. I've got a Palm M125, but I just got this Cassiopeia offa ebay for 26.00, and was hoping to find some software for it too.... I just wanna get the webpages for the caches, instead of printing them out....
  13. I has a Casio PDA with Win/CE. I was wondering if there are any files like Cachemate that work with this OS.
  14. Almost all caches around my area are just little kids toyboxes. The last one I was at I left a geocoin, which someone traded for a silly putty egg and a rubber ball.
  15. Weirdest thing... the Eagle gps I sent CoolClay worked. Hmmm, go figure. Guess it didn't like me
  16. Sounds cool. What about a multi-path multi? Maybe an easy way, and a hard way... If you do decide to make this real long one, I'd be willing to donate some beanie babies maybe so that after they complete it, you could send em a prize, maybe make a special tag to put on the beanies that says that you've completed the biggest multi-2004 cache or something.
  17. Sorry to not post this sooner, but I have given the Eagle to CoolClay (I thinks his online name). If I run across another broken one, I'll put it one here also. Explicit Dank
  18. I think putting a tripwire on it was dumb. You could end up with a lawsuit on your hands if someone got hurt. Most places I'd think it would be illegal in the first place. I know its illegal here to rig up anything like that, even on your own property, if it could cause harm to someone. I've heard of lawsuits from people where their kid ran into a clothes line that was too low.... In this sue happy world I'm not taking that chance. If a person can sue McDonalds for spilling hot coffee on themselves, they'd sure as hell sue you for putting a wire in someone's path.... If I saw a tripwire attached to something, I'd call the police, whether it said GEOCACHE on it or not. Your taking a small chance opening ANYTHING, especially something left in the woods unsupervised.... Why take a bigger chance when it has a wire going from it?
  19. Its not yellow, but if anyone wants it, I have a broken Eagle Expedition2. It doesn't turn on at all. Not sure whats wrong with it. It was given to me by family out of state, (they never told me what it was) and said it could be fixed for 70. I said send it, thinking to get it fixed. I got it and found out I can get one working for under 50. So it just sits here. It has a carrying case. and if I can find them, instructions (although they wouldn't be of use because its broken. Oh yeah, its free. And I can pay for shipping in the US.
  20. Get ya some Red Man, then when its empty, use the package...
  21. I found a Canadian geocoin that was never activated. Had to send the geocoin people an email, and they finally did it for the person....
  22. ---I could tell you about last Thursday when I went out with a friend who has a Magellan and how I zeroed out directly on top of almost every cache and he was 80 feet off on most of them. --- This is exatly what I experienced with my SportTrak. I'm not sure what the problem was, it was afternoon, cloudless, in fields, or at most VERY light cover. I could not get in under about 75-80 ft. I tried 4 different locations, all the same result. I was getting good reads on satallites, but the accuracy was way off. I didn't have my Garmin there, so I could not compare the readings(it broke), so I don't know if there was some kind of interference, or user stupidity, involved. I took it back the store.....
