  1. I've just tried listening to it. Looks like the link has been updated and is no longer covering that particular day. Haggis Hunter
  2. GCG3K1 Two Bridges has also listed all of the photo's from that cache.
  3. G:UK has a statistics page which logs the amount of FTF's. Whether you are a numbers cruncher or not you should let the FTF person log first, just in case the statistics of it all are one of the reasons he/she does the sport. Logging it before them takes the credit away from them. So have a little bit of passion and let them get a chance to log it first. Other stats that you can find on G:UK are things like the main days of the week that people go out. Whether someone has logged their own cache. Also whether someone logs the same cache twice. I have seen this done and it was to record the same visit Haggis Hunter
  4. Yep cheers for that Flyfishermanbob You promised you wouldn't say anything, I was more than happy to go back and get the information Then how was I going to get back to the car you where showing me the way. Extremely Ashamed Haggis Hunter
  5. I'm getting there slowly but surely, Doing the Trossachs just now, but I do intend getting across to the West at some time. You are right they are drying up. Think you can come over here and plant a few. He He He He
  6. You don't need a GPS to start Geocaching. Myself and Firth of Forth both started just using a map and compass. You can't do some of the Multi's and you need to know how to read a map. If you can do this then you can start for as little as £15. It's worth giving it a go just to see if you like it. Haggis Hunter
  7. Well done to Happy Hippo, are you trying to keep up with seasider. Also good luck to Simply Paul on getting his 100th before the 20th May. Haggis Hunter
  8. I thought I would try MoonHerbs solution first, Thanks for all your help but I think I will just stick to the one way of doing it. Haggis Hunter
  9. I don't know how to highlight a quote so that it comes up in a box. can someone put down step by step directions on how to do this. Cheers Haggis Hunter
  10. Thanks for your help on this FoF, as you know it was my TB that went astray. It has now been logged. The person that had the TB actually had an active email address, the problem was, it was a Hotmail account that he had. The basic Hotmail account only allows up to 1mb of information. After that it sends all email back undelivered. The owner of the account will not even know that someone has tried to send them an email. I have a lot of friends on Hotmail and I have had this problem a few times. Thanks again for your help Haggis Hunter
  11. Do a bit of research on who has a lot of activity around your area. Then look for which one's tend to do it on their own, send them an email asking if they would like to get together. The worst they could say is no. Also get yourself up to Aviemore for the 29/30th May for Scotland's Second Annual Cache Bash - 2004. You'll come away an expert. Haggis Hunter
  12. 53 from my Edinburgh post code, 7 of which are mine. Only got 6 to get out of the 53.
  13. Ben, I can't help thinking that you're refering to your log on Britains highest Geocache log page. The fact that you wrote this 4 days before your log for this cache. Makes me wonder why you went up a mountain that you could see from the bottom was covered in snow, with a member of your party just wearing a T-shirt and trainers, You also said that you saw experienced climbers heading up from the bottom with ice picks. To go up such a hill in such conditions never mind a mountain, is shear stupidity, and you cannot blame the owner of the cache, for not putting out warnings for the severity of the conditions. I have been up Ben Nevis, and it is not a mountain I would take likely at the height of summer never mind at the end of winter. As I have said in one of my logs for another cache, it is your responsibility to look out for the dangers and if in doubt don't do it or leave information with someone on the unlikely event of you going missing. Safe and Happy Hunting to all Haggis Hunter
  14. Edinburgh has 5 Multi Caches that all take you into a graveyard at some point during the cache. They are - GCGT46, GCHGGC, GC6AA9, GCHF3X, GCHGGC
  15. Congratulations Team Bostik for reaching your 100th cache. Can't think of a better day but Easter Day to get it on as well.
  16. Really annoying that is. Morrie_69 has done exactly the same to me, yet again doesn't look malicious. If any one hears of them can they let me know. Cheers Haggis Hunter
  17. I have now managed to log this cache with the help from gang of groovy girls in New Hampshire, Thanks to anybody who has offered or given advice on helping. Haggis Hunter
