  1. I have seen the black nickel TRIGO coin, awesome! Nice to see geocachers helping others, good luck to all who are bidding.
  2. Run away while you can and don't look back. Once you start collecting you can't stop, it IS that addictive! Seriously, there are a number of coin minters (listed in the pinned threads at the top) where you can purchase geocoins. Geocoin prices are what they are, and if you are serious about collecting coins you should really look into getting your own personal coins made. In the long run you will save money on a good number of coin purchases because you can trade your coin. I only wish I had made my personal coins months earlier than I did.
  3. 1.5" coin too small, 2" coin too large, 1.75" coin just the right size!
  4. Very nice, I'd like to get one or two.
  5. I don't see the Gold Compass Rose listed on the site, so I'm guessing they sold out. Add me to the list of people who are interested in trading for one.
  6. Thanks to the Geocoin Fairy, I picked up a coin early this morning from a cache. Of course now my wife knows I'm totally addicted to collecting and a little crazy since I went out while still dark and in the rain.
  7. Would like one in any of the antique finishes.
  8. I placed one in a cache and it traveled for 3 weeks and hit 3 caches before someone stole it. 2006 Compass Rose is the only coin I've had gone missing (knock on wood!)
  9. If anyone has an extra of this coin for trade or sale, please contact me.
  10. If you are interested in trading personal coins, send me an email. Photos of my coin are found in my GC profile.
  11. I like it, if you're interested in trading personal coins once they're minted, email me.
  12. I'd like to purchase 1 coin.
  13. Nice! Email sent, looking forward to making a trade.
  14. They all look good, but this one is my favorite.
  15. I like it very much, count me in for a minimum of 2.
  16. Feedback either positive or negative is necessary not only for the present seller but for others who are thinking about minting and selling a coin. Much can be learned by reading the posts in this thread. When most coins are selling for $8.50 to $10.00 and quite a few of those include the shipping, $16.13 for 1 coin with shipping is going to shock a good number of people, regardless of what the minting costs are. I really like the coin artwork, but at the current selling price this is one coin that won't be found in my collection unless I make a trade for it.
  17. I checked out the coinforce.com site and saw photos of some very nice coins, prices look good also. Maybe this site should be added to the list of places to have coins made.
  18. My geocoin collection will never be for sale, at least while I'm alive and kickin. They will have to pry my coin binders from my cold dead hands! Actually I'm hoping to pass these on to my kids/grandkids someday. My kids cache with me from time to time and my coins will be a reminder of some good times we had together while caching and of the people we've met while caching. Any extra state, group or organization coins I may someday sell, but most likely they will be placed in caches to travel or left as swag items. With so many new coins coming out since late last fall, it's too difficult to try and get all the coins I'm interested in and way too expensive. I've too have been trying to trade my personal coin for other personals as much as possible instead of buying. I've met a number of very nice people through trades, we've swapped stories and such and I can honestly say that I've never had a bad experience with a coin trade. For reasons just mentioned alone, I could never sell any of my personal coins, they mean too much to me. My brother is trying to convince me to get a fireproof safe for the home, and my wife made the comment that we couldn't afford one big enough to store all my coins, and of course the important papers and such.
  19. How much are you selling your coins for? Shipping?
  20. Bought 2 coins, can't wait to see them! I wonder if keeping one in my pocket while golfing will bring me luck and help my game? Wait till my buddies see one of these coins as my new ball marker!
  21. Got Yimed! Excellent coin.
  22. This coin is sitting next to my computer for the moment and the more I look at it, the more I love the design and the fact there's lots of metal showing. By the way, who minted your coin, inquiring minds want to know?
  23. Received my coin in today's mail, excellent coin, lots of detail and metal, good job!
  24. My coins are numbered but not trackable. I've mostly traded with others for their personals and have recently begun placing them in some quality caches. Coins placed in caches are done without any notes left with the coin, although I'm considering leaving a small note so cachers understand the coin is theirs to do with as they wish, keep or move along. I don't say anything in my cache logs regarding the fact a personal coin was dropped in the cache, I like the next finder to be surprised.
