I trimmed a Colorado invisible shield by leaving the backing on the shield as I repeat ably trimmed it until it fit the Oregon screen (I tested the fit by placing it on the unit with the backing still in place). After getting a good fit I followed the normal application procedure and have been completely satisfied with the shield.
