  1. Yes it can. If you would like to see, there is a video on youtube.com about it... Here is the link-
  2. go to the local golf course and start collecting golf balls.
  3. If you go on and youtube and search icenrye geocaching you will find a great video blog. Icenrye is a geocacher from canada and he makes absolutely great videos. In a blog I would like to see some nature pictures, and a story about your cache hunt. Maybe some technical tips too.
  4. I'm replying to this topic on my android. I think its not right that the iphone has a geo app made by geocaching, and all the android gets is a bunchh of beta apps. We should get a good app too.
  5. Does any one have a review about this gps.looking to upgrade
  6. Seeing how everyone goes off topic, even through they are correct about some of it. You can get a good compass for about 10 dollars in the sporting or hunting section of your local walmart. Like the first few people said a compass will save your life, and its no laughing matter.
  7. Does anyone know of some great caches that are really worth visiting in the las vegas area. I am also wondering why there are no Wherigo caches in our area too.
  8. Lamest I've seen was the swag that you can't trade, like when the owner says leave the stuff in there and don't put anything else in.
  9. The iphone is a great phone and so is the ipod touch. But it has been said that the phone I have(tmobile android g1) is a better phone than the iphone. I have cachemate on it but I was wondering why doesn't tmobile have a geocaching app like the one for the iphone.
  10. I want to hide a really great cache, but i am taking a poll to see what kind of container i should hide. I want to make this the most memorable cache yet. A.) ammo can B.) lock n' lock C.) tupperware D.) other( please state what kind)
  11. the activation code is most likely "explore"
  12. As you can tell by my trail name I bike a lot. I ride my bmx bike(sometimes a motorcycle in the desert or my mtn bike sometime) to find my caches. I actually race bmx and the races that are out of town(or country for that matter) we will find caches within that town, or on the way there.
  13. I use the full version of cachemate on my android g1 phone.works great and since my phone gets email, you can download the caches straight from the pq email. The program is very well worth the money, and its not that much.
  14. Is it that really tough micro down the street, the one with the best scenery, or caches all together. To me its the scenery and the cache itself. I enjoy finding regular sized caches, but the scenery is what makes it for me. I don't care if its a nano hanging in a tree at the top of the mountain. If I see animals and natural things then I am having fun. So, what makes geocaching fun for you
  15. I actually reached a milestone this weekend too. I got to my 1200.
  16. I don't see how we are lame people. We go out 4 wheeling, and I personally race bmx, and ride motocross. With my bmx trips i find caches. like blue deuce said, just ignore em'.
  17. The other day we had an event called the vegas valley georally.the cache owner made me jump through hoops to sign up for the event and two other cachers didn't even follow the rules and they got in easy. It took three days just for me to sign up for the event, and the event holder was very snotty to me before during and after the event. She's just being a total bit**.
  18. YOU HAVE GOT TO CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO. BEST CACHE EVER MADE> http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...c7-767bdd612f6f
  19. The closest cache to my house is hidden in a library, so if its exceptable so is yours. The other day i was visiting in boise and there was a cache in this huge museum.
  20. print one of the geocaching notes off in spanish then tape it to the container.
  21. There is no way that is your geocaching vehicle.if it is you can only cache in the ghetto or you will be slapped by other cachers.
  22. Snoogans is right.who gives a crap.caches get stolen all the time.
  23. Last night at an event they wanted us to go night caching at midnight, where there were a lot of really beefy black widows, garden spiders, and brown recluses. After looking for a cache for twenty minutes, where there were tons of spiders, we called it quits. street caching at night is better because there is not as many muggles. I say if its not a night only cache, then its just a plain hassle.
  24. I would hide that at the top of a mountain that no one, except a geocacher, would go on top of, just to make sure it is secure, and make it a member only. it looks like a great cache.
  25. I was hiding a nano inside a rock. It was at this school and there is a huge desert for the people to run in. There was a crevice in the side of a hill that was 15 feet deep, and that is where we put it. it was a terrain 4.5, and a difficulty 5. I got about six dnf's on it, and then went back and it was gone. we still think that an animal took it, because it was just about impossible to get in there unless you are an animal, or you carry around a twelve foot ladder with you all the time.
