Well I for one am grateful for the fortnightly updates Martin
-
Just got back from the Mega event, with 2 very tired kids, one very tired wife, and one very sunburnt neck!
Very many thanks to the committee for organising a very successful event. Had great fun on the beach for the "camping" event, with fellow cachers at the overflow campsite in the evening, and also looking for some of the local caches around Weston (with grumbles at *mouse* for the splash and dash cache!).
Already looking forwards to Mega Scotland - just got to persuade the inlaws to move the wedding anniversary so we can make it to the event instead :-)
Simon
It was indeed a great event and a great location .
It was nice to meet you at the Mega even if the impromtu Iphone demo didn't work

I had the pleasure of meeting Shauna yesterday at Mega 2 when is helping man the GAGB stand.
She is also now the proud owner of one of our South Wales Geocoins
Contact Eclectic Penguin or myslef if you want to join the coin owners club

I got a nice big envelope in the post today

Well so far so good it works locally I am off on a longer journey tomorrow so we will see how it goes
-
In the meantime here is a clue as to who it might be. This person attended a event that I've logged [as Deci]. Attending was cachers from the South of England, North of England, Scotland, Wales and parts elsewhere

Anyone have any feedback for me? Either everyone is very happy with this new mapset or apathy has set in?
I hope to compile a new non-routable set later this week.
Regards,
Martin?
I have not had a chance to try it yet but I will this evening

Cool
I have just had a thought .....I have Garmin XT on my mobile I am going to try and install them on there see if they work
That is a good idea....did you have much luck?
I have to confess I forgot I posted that and I have not tried yet ...but I will this evening and report back

I think the N95 is the obvious choice, but I use my N82 with Geocache Navigator with great results.
I also use an N82 but I also use a Nokia 5800 Link to Orange Nokia 5800 site with Geocache Navigator

I use FF exclusively at home, and i am forced to use IE at work...
With Windows 7 just about to pop up on the horizon, and the fact that it will not ship with IE in Europe, just how will you connect to the interweb to download a different browser?
All it'll be is they won't put the icon for it on the desktop & start menu by default but it'll pester you endlessly until you make it visible.
I read somewhere (cant find the link ) that there will be a link on the windows 7 desktop that allows you access to the internet to download the browser of your choice , oh and that windows update will start immediately and IE will be an "optional" download

I find I get the additional waypoints if I download the gpx file to the Colo from the cache page rather than via the PQ routine.
Surely you don't mean you get the final coords???
I got the final co-ords for one of my offsets once like that

For me, the best place for a cow is on my plate cooked medium rare!
With pepper sauce I hope
-
Couple of points she had was in a narrow lane with 2 dogs and there where calves in the herd
Cows in an open field have more space to run away.
edited because one report I read said a narrow lane but that one says the penine way
