Welsh translation for the correct spelling of "Geogelcwyr" (though the word Geocelcwyr had been in use for at least a year previously): soon to be added - I' didn't make a note of her name - but definitely needs to be credited
Tortoiseshell I think was the first to "coin" the phrase and Elizabeth (Reality Minus Three) was involved with the mutation IIRC

Great coin! Count me in for two of the antique silver
I love the dragon! And now that we know the correct spelling for the welsh word for geocaching, could you give us a hint on how it is pronounced as well ?
Geo gel cwyr = Geo -gell - coor I think

You can thank mtn-man by sending Milk Bones. This is not an "American thing." Rather, it is a consequence of having a dog as a forum moderator.
As far as I can discover, Milk Bones are not available in the U.K. Puppy Monster may have to make do with Bonios here.
MrsB
Bonios are lovely try them Lucilla

GPS rating section doesn't work right. It mandates a comment after choosing stars. Entered a comment but it doesn't recognize the comment. Keeps asking for a comment.
Also, would have been nice if it would allow input of more than one GPS. We use a handheld plus a Autonav unit (nuvi 660).
I also have other equipment I would like to add

Good news: The problem has been fixed. I just logged the 5 PM caches that I found in November. It's nice to have an accurate find count again.
Thanks to the programmers who fixed this!
I can confirm that it has been fixed just logged a PM cache my daughter found with me back in November

I have just checked and the "back door" seems to be working
So thanks for the replies hopefully it will still be working after our trip

Is is it possible ?
I did type a long thread about this but the server timed out three times
PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 45 seconds exceeded in E:\Inetpub\forums\GC\ips_kernel\class_db_mysql.php on line 457 PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 45 seconds exceeded in E:\Inetpub\forums\GC\sources\ipsclass.php on line 1111Basically my 12 year old daughter caches with me and logs her own finds we have found a couple of PM only caches recently and as we are off to Florida later in the year I don't want her to miss out logging any we may find there , (yes it is about the numbers for her ). I know there was a back door way of non PM's logging PM caches but that is temporarily unavailable
She doesn't need any of the other PM advantages so paying for a second PM account is a little wasteful in these financial times.

The last time they reviewed GPS systems it wasn't worth watching.

I wonder if the seller is aware of their desirability. Seems odd they are going as one big lot. 29 is a huge number for joe public who's not a cacher.
They are very popuar with the paintball fraternity as well

It's got the GPSr built in but doesn't get a phone signal.
Are you sure ?
For iPod touch with Maps, the Maps application provides your approximate location using information based on your proximity to known Wi-Fi networks (when on and available). The more accurate the available information, the smaller the circle identifying your position on the map. The feature is not available in all areas. Known Wi-Fi networks are predominantly in urban areas. In order to provide your location, data is collected in a form that does not personally identify you. If you do not want such data collected, do not enable the feature. Not enabling the feature will not impact the functionality of your iPod touch.from here Scroll to the bottom of the page number 7 in the list
