  1. Thanks, that was the trick! I was using my QR Reader App.
  2. I just published a new AL and have found that people have already completed it - highly suss but not the point of my post. How do people get notified of new ALs ? I can't see how short of staring at map and spotting something that wasn't there before!
  3. Trying to create my 2nd AL. When I test, it doesn't open the AL on my phone in a manner in which I can test !. I don't recall having any issues with my 1st !
  4. I did it on one day on a bike. Tip, refill your water bottles when near the cemetary (I didn't realise one could). I did it late November when it was quite hot and there was a bit of very long grass that was a bit unnerving.

    I- phone

Yes, but be prepared for a mega bill on your return. Unless a zillionairre, you need to turn data roaming off when you travel overseas - the other option, if the phone is unlocked is to purchase a local SIM
  6. Hi, I have learnt today the hard way that the Wherigo builder doesn't support Windows 7 64 bit. It let me create a cartridge, create zones, characters, items, save all the above but would fall over trying to open the cartridge for further work. Before I download URWIGO and start again, will it work ? I am not overly technical so please use small words in your answers
  7. .....BTW, I have FAMILY there and know very well what they are dealing with~ Good for you ! In my opinion, this is in bad taste but as long as you have family there, you do what you think is right!
  8. Perhaps caching is the last thing on their minds. I suggest deleting this thread!
  9. There is a very active caching community in Canberra (you can tell by how many caches are hidden here). Log onto the Geocaching Australia site (use the same caching name but you will need to register separately as they are two different beasts) and visit the forums there. You will find that's where many Aussie cachers communicate.
  10. When I use the create Waypoint function at my current location, the Triton gets it wrong by about 30 metres ie, I create the waypoint but it doesn't use my current location. Quite strange -everything else it does is very accurate. Is there some user setting option ie don't use current location when setting waypoint for current location ???
