  1. I was wondering if there is a way to view the size with auto-route of each map area. I ordered a GPS V, I need to know if my area(LA) will fit before I accept delivery. Thank you
  2. Laptop screens, cell phones screens etc get bigger and better. As GPS hardware and software progresses, it would be nice if larger screen size could go along with the other improvments. This could be done without making the GPS much bigger. I see wasted space on the GPS V and the 60c. I just actually just ordered my first mapping GPS (GPS V) after using one. I liked the audible beeps and the large turn indicators. These were great for driving.
  3. I looked at the specs of the 60c and the screen is a bit small, smaller than the GPS V. (1.2"W compared to 1.5"T) The preview pics make the screen look large in comparrison to the whole unit. I'd like to see some side by side pics. I screen size is dissapointing, screen sizes should be getting larger with new models.
  4. Same problem, but I did not realize it was a problem until I had the Meridian Yellow for a week. Reception was dissapointing but other than that I liked it. I hope the Garmin GPS V I just bought does better.
  5. I guess my thinking was others may already have a Mapsource product with a lesser Garmin unit. They may not need the software, but you say it's not sold this way? I thought auto routing software was also used with other Garmins but the feature disabled.
  6. Hi, I purchased a new GPS V that I have not received yet, it comes with Mapsource V4.01 and eligible for a free upgrade to v5. If a usable amount of the Los Angeles area will not fit, I would like to sell the GPS V without software and purchase another GPS(60c). Will I be able to first upgrade Mapsource and then unlock it to another GPS if everyting is new? Thanks
