  1. Another thing that may be of interest to you would be Paperless caching if you have a PDA. One of the best if not the best link of use to anyone in Caching is Geo Caching U
  2. You need to get a program like EASY GPS which is a free download from Geocaching.com or you can use yor Mapsorce Program from Garmin to upload to your GPS.
  3. Peeled GSAK out and started fresh again. Working now with a fresh download.
  4. Hi Clyde can you give me some insight here. This is the error message I receive Would this be a bad download or incomplete? -------------------------- Notice --------------------------- Archive integrity check failed. The expected setup file size is: 6,033,026 bytes The actual setup file size is: 3,308,024 bytes Setup will abort. --------------------------- OK ---------------------------
  5. Well I laughed at this one, if you only knew who the cache approver for you is and how active that person is....................................lol By the way thank you active cache approvers and maybe some non active approvers (not in Canada)as well. Still.....l'ing ol.....lol
  6. I can see the hesitation(sp) since I have done 2 caches where I needed to contact the owner for approval and I have not heard from hem yet. Going on 3 months now I think.
  7. Yes but if the cache in question is borderline and may have a chance to get approved would you prefer that they deny it in haste? They need to read guidelines and maps for approvals they just do not go by gut instinct.
  8. Be happy you got one done if they are that busy. They are volunteers and rec. nothing short of grief sometimes. They will get to it when they get to it, other then that contact geocaching.com admin.
  9. Well other then the admin and staff that has already been mentioned we here in the north have cache-advance, cache-tech. Not knowing cache-advance and truly having a great respect for cache-tech which he deserves. I think this is a great orginization and group as a whole. Pat yourself on the back it is well deserved.
  10. The quick answer "no", but if you contact the cacher and they reply with home addy you can. Also you could type in the link that they could use if they wish.
  11. Congrts to Dex4 for cranking in your 500th cache it was an honour to have you as a guest at the Project. I only wish that you were able to see it before the railroad cleaned up the site where they stored everything. The rails and sleepers were piled 12 - 15 feet with all sorts of equipment there. Again congradulations on your 500th find. Cachengrab
