  4. Okay….I am fairly experienced at geocaching, But I made the move to a Mac this past winter, Haven't done any caching for a bit. Trying to load a pocket Q into Garmin Oregon 400t. It has numerous times loaded into my waypoints file and I have no idea why??? I find it hard to beleive that I really have to purchase a "WinZip" program just to load my GPS? I previously used GSAK on the old PC. DIDn't care too much for that, too much information for simple me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  11. Hello, I am looking to upload to my "Icon Challenge Cache" the html codes of the different icons possible on a one day challenge. I have seen caches with these icons and think it would really put into perpective the accomplishment of a one day run. Any suggestions?
  12. I am traveling to Germany and may head into France and Switzerland, I would like to do some geocaching while there, What type of maps will I need to do that? I have looked into Topo Germany, and it appears to cost $275.00 for just the german map, is this really necessary? I was hoping to be able to download a "Europe Topo" for a lot less. Any suggestions?
  13. Hello everyone! I am lucky enough to be heading to Germany this July, and taking some day trips to Switzerland and France. Maybe Italy too. I am wondering what I will need to do to my Oregon 400t to successfully find caches there? Do I need to purchase Europe maps? My laptop will translate the cache pages, but do they use the same type of coordinates in Europe? I want to try to be ready in advance, as I know how it is to get somewhere and not have what you need to navigate to a cache. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....Thanks Guys :

  20. I feel so computer illiterate this morning, as I am trying to set up my first Earth Cache and in the process of sending an email to the gentleman that runs the highway dept., I would like to include a link to several Earth Caches that I have visited....I tried to copy the link on the URL, but it's not the GC# highlighted that I am looking for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  21. My Caching Cousin, Loony Lori has come up with a VOMP (vest of many Pockets) that holds all necessary trinkets for caching pretty much anywhere....in there she has: an extraction tool, bandaids, splenda, batteries, pens, pencils, wet wipes, signature cards, magnet tool, multi-tool, scizzors, extra carabiners, string or small rope, bug spray, sunscreen, eyeglass cleaning cloths, compass, small paper tablets, (for logging her TB discoveries) and possibly many more things I've yet to see her use!!!
  22. I have several cache listings and have tried numerous times to upload a photo onto the cache page, the only way it works is at the bottom as a kind of attachment. What I really would like is for it to be amoung the text?
