  1. you mean like the games underway at cachinggames.com? mm
  2. I think the sentence you wanted was "whoops " ...... mm
  3. They arrived this morning. .....well just over half of them. They have an obvious problem with counting to 5, only received 3 this time, even though this invoice states 5. Placed one on my 400c and it fits nicely, looks great, easy to install, though their order processing is simply terrible IMO. mm
  4. That don't sound too promising. Hope they are worth the wait. It sounds like they are worth the wait thankfully. Quality control on the delivery floor must have been on holidays that day, as i received some suunto t4 watch protectors instead. (they are about the same size as a large geocoin.) And my replacement sets (just the screen protectors themselves without boxes, spray etc) have been 2 weeks now, time to ring up and hassle them. mm
  5. I would have, if they would only get off their butts and process my order correctly....been over a month now. mm
  6. Thanks, just confirming before i miss out on a pure gold base metal . Might just go the BN then, as it's better looking IMO. (suits the theme better ) mm
  7. Can i ask what the difference in the XLE version is (apart from being nickel and limited to 35 of them) as $19.99 coverted to our currency is about our GDP. Just wanted to know if i am missing something obvious. mm
  8. Hey Super-T, Have you loaded the latest firmware (2.60) in your Oregon? The screen fade problem seems to be fixed in 2.60 with any luck. You also have quite a bit of memory available internally which you could easily load CN9 and Shonky Maps without Contours as a package, then install CA and T4A on the SD card. A useful technique, especially for the 300, is to manage your mapsets into 2 distinct sets as explained here ==> http://garminoregon.wikispaces.com/Maps?#toc19 mm
  9. You have your GPSr set to "Garmin" for the interface mode? mm
  10. Yes, US$11.95 is expensive for a "6 to 10 business days" delivery service overseas. mm
  11. From trackable coins wiki: "misty silver - randomly mixed into orders or trade only" mm note: maybe i should look up at the previous post before posting :-)
  12. awww shucks, you didn't have to...thanks in advance for the coin mm
  13. Normally accessed via Garmin's Webupdater program, available here ==> http://www8.garmin.com/products/webupdater/ mm
  14. What did the seller say about this problem when asked? It seems that you bought an untrackable coin, as it doesn't seem to mention that it is trackable anywhere on that listing . mm
  15. Second bug discovered...in a similiar vain to the first. The Zoom Level settings for the maps are also reset to AUTO for all the different labels when changing profiles. Seems to be a gremlin in the system somewhere. mm
  16. * Added support for marine fishing, nautical, and off modes Some screen captures of this feature using Bluecharts g2 v3.00 (AUS/NZ) on the 400c (map detail - Most): Marine Chart Drawing Mode - OFF Marine Chart Drawing Mode - Nautical Marine Chart Drawing Mode - Fishing It seems the Fishing mode removes bathymetric data and navigational aids, leaving a landform outline only. Hope that helps, feel free to grab the images if you want them. mm edit: apologies to anyone on dialup for the fullsize images
  17. Did you have lock or did you have the unit in demo mode when you changed the setting? I think there has a been a bug like this around since day one. When the unit doesn't have lock or is in demo mode it shuts off tracks (for obvious reasons). When lock is available again it restores the setting. If you change in the time window when you don't have lock it might not work properly -- something like that. GO$Rs I can confirm that with full lock (5m accuracy) setting the track recording to "Record, Do not Show" then changing profiles, then changing back to the original profile, causes the track setting to jump to "Record Show on Map". Sound like a bug. At least it is still Recording..... I wonder why the track setting isn't being stored correctly between cyclings? mm
  18. Does the new Firmware update - 2.6, fix this problem? mm
  19. WOW , what a sweet update. The "user interface for waypoint location" update is worth it alone. The new tide charts are a welcome surprise and gives the marine component a well needed feel. I wonder what the "shutdown during poweron" issue was....hopefully it is the screen fade problem. mm
  20. Great, great! But where can I find the tide chart in the Oregon? Assuming you have an Oregon that has Bluecharts installed (eg 400c) then the tide charts are found by going to "Where To? ==> Tides" A nice addition to the Tide data indeed...sweet. mm
  21. A quick and simple search brings up the following: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc...tate=l1n9lk.5.1 Whether coins are covered or not in the trademark, i'm not sure, however to say that you searched the trademark database and found nothing, doesn't answer an easy question from Tooey and others. Wow, i hope that your company doesn't really stand behind this statement, as it is very arrogant and disappointing to see a supposedly reputable company tout the "sales by any means" concept. mm
  22. Why would this thread not include unwanted political statements when you actively promote the following: An unacceptable marketing technique IMO just to sell coins. mm
  23. It seems that this question still remains unanswered by the OP, even though they posted several more times in this thread since then. mm
