  1. Can any of you guys out there tell me why I can't get my Etrex Legend to connect with my XDA2 running pocket Fugawi? I've tried what seems like every setting that you can make, but they just won't "talk" to each other. If any one has a similar set-up, would love to know how it works. Many thanks Gary
  2. We placed a micro in a graveyard after a lot of consideration. It was hoped that people visting the cache would remember the horror of war. Looking at the logs it seems to have done just that. If the logs were negative, then we would disable the cache straight away. Less we Forget Thats how we feel Kiteflyer(Gary and Jane)
  3. A postman who found a letter box..... surely your employers should tell you where they are??? New policy, we are not told where they are anymore...............security
  4. My gripe isn't helped by the fact I found one yesterday Vicky box! Not very good at this forum lark yet
  5. As a postman myself, I now wait for the memo to come around to say that when some little old lady asks where the nearest post box is, our reply should be "Can't tell you incase you plant a bomb in it!" My gripe isn't helped by the fact I found one yesterday!!
  6. Many thanks for that advice. If I add it as a waypoint it is spot on. It's only when i try to plot point that it is out. I have version 310 473.
  7. Does anyone else have tha same problem that I have found on Fugawi? If i input coordinates directly from my GPSr, after downloading them from Groundspeak, they are spot on. However, if i manually input the coordinates for plot point, the point is about 100 metres out! Is this me or a problem with Fugawi? Obviously not a problem if using a GPSr and trusting it, but will cause problems if you are relying on Fugawi to find the cache! Gary and Jane (kiteflyer)
  8. Well done, must be about time we went shopping together again!!! Gary and Jane
  9. Sorry make that no.20 just like our caching. Hit and miss!!!
  10. Guilty as charged. No.21 is us. A bit of a one sided photo due to small kiteflyer taking pic.
  11. Hi there I have not used memmap, but I do use fugawi. What do you want to know? I use it to plot caches, transfer track logs, waypoints and routes from my garmin legend. Fugawi is supposed to run through a pda connected to gps, but i don't have the cables to do this, therefore cannot say how well this works. However using it up until now, every waypoint has been spot on. Anything else you would like to know please ask. Gary
