Try using google and enter "garmin vehicles crosshairs". I found three "vehicles" that work with my 200. One is a rifle scope that works the best. Js HDs

It wasnt where the port was assigned but HOW it was assigned. The port came up as COM-6 but it came up in full handshake mode. A quick NUL-MODEM connector did the trick. It fooled the computer into thinking it had full handshaking. Thanks for the help, it sent me in the right direction. Js HDs (Jerry & Jeanne)

I'm running a SONY VAIO as a caching computer. It has no serial port. I purchased a USB>Serial cable but it doesnt seem to want to talk. The GPS is an old GPS II Plus. It works on my XP Pro machine so the GPS is good. (works good in the field also) Thanks Js HDs ( Jerry & Jeanne) (Yes We Both Ride)
