Glad I checked here as I have been going nuts trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong. I have only tried today but it is not working for me.

My first unit last almost 2 years before it became loose but I probably created the problem when I put the unit in a tight space with a right angle cord. Now with the replacement I have been VERY careful with it and it has lasted only a couple months. I am not happy
