  1. We also cannot sign in on our iPad it just keeps going back to the sign in page, also having the same problems with the new sign in page on the home PC using Chrome and it only sgns in using the old sign in at the top but also wont stay signed in even after ticking the "stay signed in" tab. Cheers, Geckoh from New Zealand.
  2. Fortunately we are not the owners of any of the puzzles listed above that you are offering to GIVE the answers away to or I would have far more to say to you. As it is, I will suggest that those interested in your posting add the abovementioned puzzles to their watchlists and note which geocachers are prepared to take you up on such offers - for interest sake, because it’s just a game, of course! It is one thing to give hints, quite another to give away solutions. Is the next thing you are planning to suggest that you nominate someone, to do the long walks and sign the logbooks for everyone, who can’t be bothered, so you can all claim them? It's a shame that an interesting idea for an Event cache (although exclusively for locals due to being set on a weekday) has come to this!
  3. WOOHOO!!! The Colorado wont need to be left in a geocache for swag after all!! I ran the M12 and loaded the latest firmware and then double checked by running it through the web updater, have loaded a pocket query through it and it seems fine, mind you, if it is gonna fail it will wait till we are in the middle of nowhere I'm sure!!! Lucky we have 2 400t's just in case!! we had both loaded up on our 1 week caching trip in the holidays when #1 decided to fail on us, #2 saw us through but its good to get both working again. Thanks heaps for your help and quick response!! Geckoh.
  4. Can anyone help us, our Garmin Colorado 400t has had a meltdown and now when it is turned on it brings up the Garmin screen with "System Sofware Missing" message across the top of the screen and will progress no further. See attached image: have found instructions to be able to get it hooked up to the computer but am unsure what needs to be done from then on!! Any light shed on the matter would be appreciated, and also in the most basic terms!
  5. Same here. I had to stick my magnetic tag behind the rear passenger window. I would have rather stuck it on the tail-end but hey that's the current car model. How much did you spend? Send me an email, I might be willing to buy it off you. I can't see that there is anything stopping you having a decal made with the number on the magnetic travel bug on it; you could then either stick it to the tailgate or the window of your vehicle - you own the travel bug and its number, you would just need to make a change to the online details once you have done it!
  6. Personally, I love the idea! As many of you have mentioned - the Geocacher has the choice as to whether to complete a cache or not. Maybe in little ol NZ we are a little less concerned about Big Brother watching us, if someone wants my cellphone number there are plenty of ways of gaining that information, thats just a fact of life. I take my phone caching, thats why I have it for the convenience but I am not walking around in the beauty of the bush talking through my bluetooth headset ignoring the wonders around me.
  7. I would be with Brewmeister on this. I have cremated two of my dogs and I would not have a problem (other than living in New Zealand and it being physically impossible in this case) to move along the ashes. A small sealed container with a doggy type toy or picture attached with the TB seems like a nice idea!
  8. I have a Travel Bug on my car, but as yet no one has discovered it , although many curious muggles have asked what it is (good way to introduce them to Geocaching). Maybe I just drive too fast and my bug is a blur all the time!! I will keep an eye out for yours!
  9. We are New Zealand Geocachers hoping to make contact with a UK Geo Cacher near Finchampstead to complete a cache called Over the Pole, we found the co-ordinates you just need to claim the cache! If you are interested please contact us through Groundspeak email from our profile. Thanks GECKOH
