Two of our Missions have arrived to us safely so far.... Just learned that I have a secret Santa from the UK ... I am soo excited. We are waiting for my youngest daughter's mission to arrive and then we will open all our packages, and post pictures as well. We have the two packages under our Christmas tree, and the suspense is really getting to my daughters (as well as MOM, but I don't let them know!!!) Heidi

Just got my two missions today!!!! I started shopping for this one before I got my names due to the limited amount of time that we have to send these. THANKFULLY, the ones that I had picked out will do just fine for my recipients. Just waiting on them to arrive in the mail, and then I will get these missions out... Heidi

Does anyone know who made the Merry Christmas Geocoin, on the front it has a christmas tree and on the other it has a pengiun and a snowman, and says NO. I think I was First to find ?????? Any info would be great .. Heidi

I haven't come across and Golden geocoins... BUT, if I did -- I would definitly be interested!!! We love animal themed geocoins, and since we have a golden, we would definitly have to have one of those. If you decide to make them, let me know!! Heidi

Welcome to the Forums!! I just bought a GEODOG coin not too long ago from Ebay. I usually see them up there a lot, so if you do a search for "geocoin", usually there are a lot of different coins up there. Just make sure the auction says it is for an unactivated coin. Also, you may find some people selling some coins in forums just like this one, so keep your eye out for them. Good Luck in your search, Heidi

I too had the same problem with ordering coins for this mission. I had one package that needed to go to Canada, and I did not want to wait to long to send it out. I ordered this coin the day that I was assigned a person. So, we are going on almost 1 month. Still haven't received it, so today I had to make other arrangements!!! Well, I really hope my Canada mission likes their geocoin. It's not the one I wanted to get for them, but sometimes you are just forced to make alternate arrangements. Mission 1 - Adult 1. Cool Coin!!! I remember the first geocoin that I had come in contact with. It was the BadMojo coin. Although we didn't get bad luck from it, because we moved it within 2 weeks -- We did become highly addicted to those small round metal coins!!! HA! After that coin, we searched and searched for more caches that contained geocoins, so we could touch them, and have the pleasure of moving them on in their journies. If that was not enough, now we are making our own collection. CAUTION -- Once touched, These geocoins are highly addictive!!!! Congrats on your find! Heidi

Team Fehling's Update: We will be shipping out our packages next week, right before Thanksgiving. 2 are staying in the states and will be shipped out Priority. AWESOME IDEA!!!! I will take a bunch of these!!! I have been searching and searching and searching for geocoins that are motorcycle related and do not come up with too many. This is a very good message. Thanks Robert for doing such a coin. When do you think they will be available to purchase??? Heidi

Jim, Thanks soo much!!! I was looking at the PDAPARTS.COM, and they are really cheap. They are refurb, would that matter? I actually like the M515 because it is color, would that matter?? I already have GSAK, but never have used it. If I just wanted the Palm to hold all my notes, like the cache information (whatever they wrote up on the page plus the hints), I could use it for that? When you say do your logging on your palm when out looking for caches, I am confused. My GPS is where I usually hit "found" and when I get home, I manually type them in to log them in. Is there an easier way?? Sorry if I sound like a real untechno newbie. I am actually good with computers, just never used a pda before. Can you store a lot of info on the palm?? Thanks soo much! Hi Everyone .. I started thinking about "paperless" caching when I saw a geocoin on Ebay that said Paperless Caching, and started wondering what it was. From looking at some posts, I would assume that instead of printing out all the information on a cache on to paper, that you could just download it to a PDA or some device like that? So, here is my question. I have a Garmin GPSMAP 76CSX. What do I need to buy / Download to be able to go to a cache with all the information I need without paper. And, will I be able to store all the information about the cache in a device (Including the info, and the hint, and whatever else it may say for the cache.) Any help would be appreciated. Since two out of 3 of our missions is staying inside the states, we will be shipping them out priority after Thanksgiving (Nov 27, or so). The other is going very close also, and will be shipped out right before Thanksgiving. This is sooo exciting!!! Team Fehling
