  1. You are quite right the setting had changed but don't recall doing that - Thank you Groundspeak Lackey - Ignore the rant!!!
  2. I have not changed any settings on the gps. I think the change is due to PQ's. The Icons are now all circular in appearance with different colours in circles and a very small circle in the top left hand corner of this larger circle - if you see what I mean. the larger circle colours seem to denote difficulty (blue) / terrain (amber)/ size of the cache (green). The smaller circle the type of cache. This circle is then replicated to the map. The detail on the cache page has also changed in the headings of the individual caches. I have photos' but can't work out how to upload
  3. You won't stand a chance of posting a log on the website. Even fully sighted people will struggle with the ultra-small font size now offered. Ever since graphic UI came in about 20 years ago developers have always had monitors much larger than most users and never think what looks good on a 32" desktop screen is useless on a 10" notepad or tablet. Sorry I may have posted in the wrong area - I am talking about the map (and listings)on the (Garmin) GPS - the maps on the website have not changed their symbols - yet. - should I move this post?
  4. I have just downloaded a pocket query and transferred to my GPS. The icons have changed totally for all caches types. They are now virtually indistinguishable in the list view and especially so on the maps on the GPS. I don't think that thought has been given to visually impaired users in this change, as the icon within the circle cannot be differentiated. I am one such affected user. The old distinct cache types on the map were instantly identifiable. From us it is a plea of please change the symbols back.
  5. We use Firefox and get the same issue. Strange that sometimes it is the whole map that is affected and at other times it is selected areas of a map.
