  1. Saw this in the desert the other day, it was a metal stake sticking out from a pile of rocks. pretty sure it is a bench mark but i cant seem to locate it. help. photo was taken with a geotagging device, so the meta data should be there if that will help.
  2. Where did you get this info. According to the usps its ok to mail a GPSr to Syria. On the website of the United States Postal Service they have a list of items that are forbidden to be shipped to each country in the world. Syria's page mentions nothing about GPSr.
  3. sorry if this is in the wrong place, i did not see a tech support forum. Right now when i view threads, it only shows one post and this lame nested folders navigation thing below it. it was not always this way, how can i change it back so it just shows all the posts? Its maddening the way it is now.

  6. I heard rumor of this about a year ago and they are still not at my local best buy. Any one know about these? auto geo-taging my photos would be amazing for my trip to Europe in March.
  7. or sharing accounts? the how i don't know but i know it can be done. if porn companies know when you are sharing an account with people ( and thus lock the account) I am reasonably sure ground speak can do it also. All the better for Groundspeak, they have their life time subscription money and don't have to pay for the bandwith that user would take up.
  8. something along the lines of what tivo does. 12.95/mo or 299-399 for life time. It can't cost more for this website to run then it does to maintain tivo's network.
  9. why is there no option for life time membership? Id do it if it was life time. Don't want to buy a year membership because it is too hot to cache in Arizona during the summer and the other option does not have alot of value. so how about it... option for life time membership?
  10. also some arizona zip codes go to france
  11. i have to say these shoes are amazing. Id recommend them to every one. The first thing i realized is how restrictive regular shoes are, with 5fingers you can climb and grip the rocks much better. Plus they are good for the slackline!
  12. Some what upset that Wherigo is not supported on the dakota series. Is it possible that it could be added later on via firmware updates?
  13. I don't come to these forums much but it seems like i am no the only one that does not like micro. Well make that nano. Small then a film canister is too small. I like finding that size and bigger.
  14. my experience is muggles don't care about you. If you see some one just say hello, people up to no good are not usually friendly.
