Thank you for letting me know. I did go ahead and purchase a vista from craigslist here that I couldn't turn down. Then purchased another Garmin that I liked better. So know I have one to sell also!!

I don't have anything right now to go caching with so I am open to anything but I do have certain things in mind after doing some research but wanted to see what might be here. I thought I found one on here and was talking with someone about buying it but he sold it to someone else. I was so bummed that I almost said forget the whole thing but decided to post on here instead. I really want to get into caching with my sons but being a mother of young children the money doesn't go as far as it should. Thanks for the offers if you have any.

Ok, I have found out that I have to take my Nextar back to the store that I got for Christmas. Now (I think) I am choosing between a Garmin 660 or Garmin 760. Do you think these are good for Auto and geocaching or do you think I could do better? Also, would a handheld device be better then these for geocaching and why are they better? Thank you, Lisa

I found a couple of caches last year useing a freind's Garmin 660. I loved GeoCacheing so much that all I wanted was a GPS so I could do it on my own and not "borrow" someone else's system. Well, for Christmas I got a Nextar Q4 and tried it for the first time last night. I sat here and almost cried while I searched the Nextar site and the manuals. I don't see anywhere that you can put in the coordinates. Can someone help me? Should I take this unit back and get a differant one? If I do take it back, what should I be looking for? I don't have alot to spend. We do like the systems that mount in the car versus the hand held ones (if that makes sense). Through all my searching in desperation.... I also looked at the GPS garage sale and saw one system that gave elevations. Does that help in geocaching alot or not so much when just getting started? And other people where worried about sounding stupid..... Trying to figure all this out is giving me a headache! Thank you for your help, Lisa
